I would have to say that Bruins edges out whitesox for the win. Sox took Bolton all the way up to 11th on 47 points - very impressive. Bruins took Wolves up to 40 points, but the FA Cup win is just epic. Well done to the both of you.
    Congrats to both.

I unfortunately couldn't fend off the relegation bug.

Same. I brought them back up though and they're looking like they could be a possible mid-table team.

With Pompey's financial troubles I found myself in I thought it best to just abandon the game. I do still have the save if I ever feel ambitious.

I agree about the financial troubles being very daunting. I had the same issue at Crystal Palace, it's really tough.

Had a blue screen scare on the laptop yesterday buy things seem to be going well as of now. Thought I was gonna lose my Bolton save on which I've worked so hard. Also, to be technical, me and Bruins tied with 11 points unless he had a player who scored 20+ league goals, or went deep in the league cup.

We really should do more stuff like that, because I never would have chosen Bolton to start a game with.

The soon to be newest member of BCFC is (drumroll please)...Darijo Srna! On a free no less! Granted, he does need to be given a work permit, but that is just a formality with his international record. He was Man City's first target in every FM09 save. Although I haven't seen him much in FM10, his record in 09 must somehow translate well in 10. Anyone had experience with him? His stats look great for an attacking fullback (and he is sure as hell better than my other natural RB options Stuart Parnaby and Stephen Carr or my "not-natural" RB options Steven Taylor and Guy Demel).

I hope the permit goes through, I've yet to have one accepted.

Well, as the scouting report said, he would fail the first work permit application (which he did), but the appeal would in all likelihood be accepted (which it was). Welcome to virtual St. Andrews, virtual Darijo, your new virtual home!

Starting a new MLS game, not sure if I'm going to go with my Revs again or not. Might go for a smaller team and look to build them.

Interestingly enough, I also started an MLS game today. Went with Kansas City, pretty uneventful preseason, signed a few frees, nothing huge.

I'm gonna get to the regular season tomorrow.

Ended up going with Toronto. Going to try and get them as Canadian as possible.

                        Love that idea

I took a break from my Arsenal save to start my yearly Juventus save. On FM 09, I built a nice dream team and will look to do the same this year. I'm going to try to only sign Italian based players and develop the squad I currently have.

I want to build an Italian based Juve....wish me luck

Now now - don't be mean I do agree as a Canadian....we have very few talented players. The ones that actually have talent have decided to play for other countries lol

I'm itching to pull the trigger and buy this game...it seems addicting as hell. I just can't do it though, I need some peer pressure
