After posting that we drew with FC København, and my top keeper Skjærbæk is out for two weeks, missing the Europa League Quarter-Final Second Leg vs Roma, and the DBU Pokalen Semi-Final.

Never change FM Gods. Never change.

I missed out on qualifying for Euros after I posted that I might make the Euros on here.

I 100% believe that's the reason why I didn't make it to Euros, can't convince me otherwise.

I always love to see what has happened hundreds of years into the future with FM sim.

I once posted on here in a Rangers save that I was one point from securing the title with five games to go.

I never secured that point and lost to Celtic on goal differential.

Love DoctorBenjy! So much fun to watch.

In my own save: I wound up finishing 14th...made a few small additions to my team but think some of my own guys will keep developing to help me improve too. Have 2 young strikers who played well when I rotated them in, so I'll probably give them more starts this year.

Killed off my affiliation with Rochdale as they gave me 1 good player to loan in 3 years...and asked the board to find a new one. They come back with ManU (for 115k a year) and the loan players are already WAY better. So happy with that! Also played pretty well against better teams in my friendlies so I've got some good vibes going right now.

Here's to hoping for a top half finish and maybe even a playoff place? One can dream?

Those into the future saves like that always annoy me. Because they never load anything other than England (I know that wasn't his save file, but other FM youtubers who do those with their own files do the same thing). So the rest of the world results are always nonsense. You have one team winning the league every year for 800 years. And all the teams in England dominate European football.

Yeah if I was going to do a big future save like that, I'd at least load the major European leagues on top of England - Germany, Spain, Italy, France. Sure, the file size of the save will be huge and loading times will suffer, but it would be far more interesting and diverse.

On another note, DoctorBenjy is one of my go-to youtubers. Great content.

Just got FM 17, haven't played since FM 15 and I'm completely lost again. Doing a Valencia save to get my feet wet and a eventual LLM save with La Roda (I'm a fan of Man of La Mancha).

I usually wait till the holidays to buy FM when most of the bugs are sorted out and it's discounted. I don't think I can wait that long this time. There's the pre release discount on Steam, which will probably be the same discount later in the year anyway.

This season was frustrating, to say the least. We were in promotion contention through the first half of the season, but things went stale when the summer transfer window opened and my board sold my best midfielder and centerback without any time for me to replace them.

We still have a quality side, but we just couldn't score enough and we drew way too many games. Defense was 2nd best in the league, so I'll try to keep that intact but invest heavily in attack.

Scratch that. For some reason, Dalkurd came calling after a season where they clinched promotion to the Allsvenskan. Not sure why honestly, but it would have been stupid to turn down a chance to go from the third division to the top flight.

my favorite transfer offers are the ones where they offer you less than a player is worth, and then add in the non-negotiable selling team wage contribution.

                          Yeah, no thanks.

Eventually got the money I wanted for each player I was selling this year. Chelsea loan->first team tryout->sell plan is working nicely.
