I have a run of very winnable matches approaching, Bolton, Stoke, Sunderland & Pompey.

Realistically if I take 9/12 points I could be sitting on 29 through 13 matches, keeping me on pace for 85 points.

OK I think I'm finally ready to start up now that I have all the graphics. I followed the advice you guys gave and am going with every first division team from every continent, every international from every continent plus the following leagues as playable: England, Spain, Italy, Germany, France, Russia, Ukraine, Holland, Romania, Portugal, Turkey, Greece, Scotland, MLS, Mexico, Argentina, Brazil

Going with 2nd division for most except MLS where I'm not including the second division and England where I included down to League 2.

Any advice on a team to pick? I think I want to start off with a second tier team in one of the top leagues. Was thinking of going with maybe Atletico Madrid or Sevilla.

That's a lot of players to load, your Db will be fantastic....and that's quite a few playable leagues to boot.

My only advise would be to pick a club you like. It's far easier to get immersed with the game if you have a passion for the club/players you are managing, IMO.

I always run a Spurs game, because that's the club I support.....but I think it would be fun to try to take a League 1 or 2 side up the ranks.....

Managing in Spain or Italy could be fun too, but I just don't know the players from those countries like I do in England, so that might make it tough. How many Garcia's & Nacho's can a manager take before they lose it completely??

Yeah it was somewhere in the neighborhood of 120,000 players. It only recommended going to 75,000 but it seems like the games recommendations are very conservative.

Yeah it's tough because I really don't have a favorite club. I'm leaning towards Italy or Spain right now but might consider starting with my local club, NE Revolution, and working my way up to bigger clubs.

I decided to loan Jovetic after all. I attempted to make offers for Silva and Mata, but was re-buffed each time and TBH, Jovetic fits my Barca team better - a winger who can play as an inside forward and score goals. Plus, I can always cancel the future fee and sign Mata in the off-season. I just thought I need another winger with the amount of games I have left in all comps.

Jovetic already made an impact - bagging a goal in his first game in a 4-0 rout of Valencia

I love when players score on their debut. That gives them a special place in my heart.

I was winning my first league game with Dartford 1-0 in the 88th minute when someone scored a debut goal for the other team.

That player has no place in my heart.

Spanish player, and how they all have similar names. It's a stereotype, because whenever I watch a La Liga match it seems like every other player is named Perez, Lopez or Garcia.

With such similar names (making a broad generality statement) it would be difficult for me to grow attached to my squad. Does that not make sense?

It would be the same deal if an English team had 5 players named Andrew.

                              Wow, you're pretty closed-minded then, aren't you?

Because that's not nearly the case at all.

Just when my outside chances at promotion were beginning to weaken, and my desperate hunt for a decent striker was turning up no results, I struck gold!
