Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
I've got to try lower league management at some point. I'm always worried because I'm such a sore loser in this game lol. I do want to finish out my 1st season as Barca thoughThis is great fun right now.
I remain unbeaten in the league after back-to-back 4-0 wins over Valencia and Almeria. I'm 12 points up on Real Madrid and am about to start the Copa del Rey semi-final against Sevilla. My team is fully healthy and playing very very well.Comment

Dartford had a brief blast of quality, and then went right back to the way things were. The board hasn't ended it yet, but it's gotten to the point where I'm seriously contemplating resigning.Comment

I resigned from the US job, mostly cause I didn't load the MLS, and well in 2025?(I think) the player pool isn't much.Comment

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
Do you mean there just aren't a lot of U.S. players in the game anymore? Because you can add players to the pool.Comment

Getting close to the World Cup with France. Ribery isn't match fit coming off an injury which worries me. I think I might give Remy the start up front with Benzema. I'll see how he does in the friendly against Belgium a few weeks before.Blind to this impending fate

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
An update on my season:
I beat Sevilla 5-2 on aggregate to advance to the Copa del Rey Final. My tough road consisted of Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, and Sevilla. My reward for the tough road? Valladolid in the final
As for the league, I continue to score at will. The only thing I'm not so happy about is that my defense is starting to leak goals. Hoping to rectify that.
My CL game against Chelsea is looming. Another tough battle, but I'm confident I'll be able to come through
Zlatan has 31 goals, Bojan has 20, and Messi has 22. Pedro has 13 goals so my stars have played well. Then again, I've been fortunate to avoid any serious injuries. Rotating has helped.Comment

Re: Chelsea
I resigned from Dartford, couldn't take all of the injuries.
Vacationing until the end of English seasons, as I assume that's when a majority of interesting jobs will open.Comment

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
I heart Lionel Messi. I was tied with Chelsea 1-1 with about 2 minutes left in the match and he decides to score a screamer to give me the all-important 2-1 win at Stamford Bridge. Pique got sent off thanks to a Drogba dive (bastard), but it all worked out.Comment
