Boom. Good insurance, but I'm still gunning for auto-promotion. Top two teams go up, and third through sixth compete in the Playoff.

Well, it's do or die time as the 2015-2016 season winds down. It's looking like we're finally going to get some CL football, but more importantly, with 6 matches left, we still have a chance to overtake Milan for the league title. 2 points back.

We have no one in the top half of the table left on the schedule, so if there was ever a chance, it's right now. (I feel like I should cue up that Van Halen song on Spotify)

            Final six matches:

Pescara (H) W 4-1 1st place due to tiebreaker (Split the season series, but I am up 4-3 on aggregate)
Vicenza (A) D 0-0 Crazy match, Vicenza is on good form - we both had a man sent off and we saved a penalty in the 18th minute. 1st place by 1 point.
Catania (H) W 1-0 1st place by 4 points. Much needed breathing room.
            Bologna (A) L 0-2 SMH 1st place by 1 point.
            Bari (H) W 3-1 CHAMPIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOOOO!!!!!!
            Cagliari (A) Doesn't matter!

            Milan's matches:

            Inter (H) D 2-2
            Pescara (A) L 1-3
Vicenza (H) L 1-4 Did I mention Vicenza was on good form? Wow!
            Catania (A) W 2-0
            Bologna (H) L 0-1
            Bari (A) Doesn't matter!

LOL, nice pattern FM, they just play every team the week after I do.

As you can see Atalanta, after foolishly firing their manager about 10 matches into the season, will not be having Serie A football for much longer. They just never recovered their form after that. The guy led them to 2nd and 3rd place finishes, you'd think he'd get a chance to turn things around.

Over the moon right now! Promoted with seven matches to go. Only need two more wins to seal up the title, and then I can give some youngsters some minutes.

Gotta say, this is my most unexpected league title in my time playing FM. Here's the squad league stats. We just went on an epic run from late November where we were looking at yet another 5th place type season 10 points out of 1st. Still not sure how everything fell into place for us to win.

Crashing out of the Coppa Italia in the quarters and the Europa League in the first knockout round again (0-0 away, 2-2 home to Olimpiacos) was probably a blessing in disguise as we were fresh down the stretch.

I'm sure I'll get a job offer or two now, but I'm going to stick in for the title defense season, and see if we can sneak into the knockout round of the CL.

Marco Moro recovered from his injury just in time to come off the bench in the final match of the season, a celebration at home with the supporters, nabbing the third goal in a 3-0 win. Absolutely thrilled for the lad, he's Venice through and through.

Also have been able to give 14 year old mid Alex Moresco some minutes off the bench in the final few matches, hoping that helps him progress into a started in a couple years.

So that's that, the season's done and dusted, and we'll get to prove ourselves in Lega Pro Prima next season. I'm really not sure where this team's ceiling is, I never expected to walk the league like we did this season. I've delayed a contract extension decision until the end of the season, I want to at least see if any teams are interested in me. I fully expect to be back in Venice though.

After taking over Real I stopped playing due to time but got back recently and will post my updates tonight when I get home. Lets just say it has been a very interesting year as first year of Madrid.

My first year as Real manager started poorly to say the least. In 11 competitive games to start the season, only 2 were wins. This followed by Ronaldo calling me out and me putting some of the blame on him. Right after word he wanted to be transferred and I agreed. Asking price: €140m. No one came obviously. Ronaldo kept playing despite poor morale. Some changes were made:

Overall Real's roster is similar to today with one huge signing in Sergio Canales. Mourinho's last positive move for Real.

Eventually we turned things around and the result was:

                            Spoiler

Lost the final 2 out of 3 games in the league so that was a little disappointing but by then we already clinched the league. Top it off with winning the Copa Del Rey and I'd say that was a successful season for my first as Real boss.

Champions League wise, not so go. Got knocked out of the group stages as we didn't yet get out of our funk. But look who won the CL again this year:

                            Spoiler

Three years running a French side has won the CL. Crazy...

On a side note Ronaldo has requested he be removed off transfers.

As far as "The Only One", he got sacked after finishing 5th with my previous team Chelsea.

I also agreed to coach the U23 squad for the Olympics so we'll see how that goes between splitting time.

Should be a good test for us. First time we've played a Serie B club in a competitive match.

Ended up losing that game 3-0... Bad result, but it was helped by an unfortunate red card + penalty decision. Always thought that was cruel, double punishment and all...

Anyway, realized I'd never showed you guys my full squad. Well, here it is, going into our first season in Lega Pro Prima.

I've built this squad carefully over my three seasons in charge, with the idea of having adequate cover at all positions whilst not letting the squad get too big.

Remember, I play primarily a 3-6-1 formation, since most teams I play against stick to a 4-4-2.

On the occasion I face a team who employ a loan forward, I also have a 4-3-3 at my disposal.

Every player man marks his counterpart, with the exception of the center forward and the spare centerback, who mark zonally. The key here is to always have a spare man at the back.
