Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
Going to be in a scrap with City and Everton for 3rd-5th.
Got knocked out in the first knockout round by Galatasaray on penalties, but I’m still alive in the FA Cup thanks to a howler from the Blackburn keeper. Having already been knocked out of the League Cup, I can now focus all efforts on the league which is fine by me.

I need some help on away tactics, as my away form has been **** lately.
Do you guys go full Jose regardless of the opponent or do you set up differently depending on who you play?
My breaking point was losing two back to back away against Everton and Wolves. Luckily I beat Leeds in extra time at Elland Road.

I typically roll with similar tactics, at least to start the game. Playing as Arsenal, I am more talented than most, so I kind of feel like I can get away with just going more attacking to get a lead, and then gradually get more conservative as the match progresses.
My “conservative” tactic subs off my AM (Özil or Ramsey), and replaces with a DM (usually Dominick Kohr). I then change my WBs from either attacking/support to defend, and change mentality to balanced, cautious, or defensive depending on quality of opponent.

Lol, and likely not necessary...? Maybe balanced is conservative enough lol ?

Trying a JM save.
Man coaching at semi-pro or amateur blows!
After losing 6 in a row in October. I resigned from Rosenheim (4th tier in Germany).
Now trying to get something in Austria or Slovakia to build something...my end goal is to manage in Bundesliga.

Nation kits don't get updated every year for the most part, as nation kits don't update as often as club kits. There might be a single kit updated here and there later in the year, but for now I'd download these mega packs made this last summer for the world cup:
Europe:
The real Europe nations kits for the World Cup 2018 in FC'12 style. Can be used with every Football Manager since 2009.
Asia:
The real Asia nations kits for the World Cup 2018 in FC'12 style. Can be used with every Football Manager since 2009.
Africa:
The real Africa nations kits for the World Cup 2018 in FC'12 style. Can be used with every Football Manager since 2009.
Oceania:
The real Oceania nations kits for the World Cup 2018 in FC'12 style. Can be used with every Football Manager since 2009.
North and Central America:
The real Central & North America nations kits for the World Cup 2018 in FC'12 style. Can be used with every Football Manager since 2009.

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
I have a couple questions regarding training...
1) If you have 1 tactic copied to all 3 slots, are the players getting 3X the training? I think I saw this on a blog somewhere and was curious as to the validity?
2) When you have multiple tactics setup, and let's say I have Ozil as an AM, but in another 'non-selected' tactic I don't have an AM but a DM and he's placed there--is he getting training in both? If so, I'd think that multiple tactics are worthless. Any ideas on this?
I thought I had another but it's escaping me, lol...Arsenal | New York YankeesComment

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
I’m still toying around with FM18 (I usually upgrade when the winter update comes out) and for the first time ever, I thought I would try my hand at creating a club in England and starting with zero players and zero staff and see if I can build the club to the premier league.
We’re dead last. I don’t see myself surviving lol
