Re: ***The Official Arsenal "Gunners" Thread***
Bad mistake by Reina thats true. But all in all, I think we deserved a share of the points. We weren't very good truth be told but Liverpool wasn't that great either. I think it was a fair result.
On the CB situation, I would assume Song will be slotted in if he's fit. If not, I guess Nordvelt will have to play. We have got to get a CB and quick. No team can afford to be 3 deep at CB, especially a team with title aspirations."The academic support at Ohio State, there is no way you can fail. Apparently it was a minor injury that occurred on Sunday. Our season is off to the usual routine. Now, RVP just needs to have a season ending injury within the next few weeks.Comment

Does losing Nasri really hurt that bad? I thought he had a pretty bad performance on Sunday. A lot of blasting the ball into the wall on free kicks and misguided crosses.Comment

Yes, losing Nasri will hurt. He is a for sure start everytime he is fit."The academic support at Ohio State, there is no way you can fail. Even if you're giving minimal effort there is no way you can fail."

Squillaci heading to the Emirates?

This is being picked up by quite a few sources, and it looks like there is some substance to this rumor.
If it's true, while he's 30 and injury prone, he's a great defender when healthy, and he'd be our third option, so I would be all for this move.Comment

I wouldn't mind that signing at all. He is a pretty good defender, like you said he has some health issues, but who on this team doesn't.
Give me Squallaci and Given or Schwarzer and we should be alright this season. Still not a championship caliber squad without a few breaks, but that will be enough to definitely keep us in the top 4."The academic support at Ohio State, there is no way you can fail. Still, it seems that Given will go to Fulham with Hughes and we'll get Schwarzer, which is fine with me.Comment

Re: ***The Official Arsenal "Gunners" Thread***
As I just quickly touched on, it's not out of the question due to Given wanting to win something and play Champions League football. Apparently several sources close to him have said he left Newcastle for Man City because he felt he could win something there. He's not winning anything at Fulham, and if City truly don't care where he goes, Arsenal could be his destination.Comment
