Looks like karma struck swiftly to Reina for taking part in the shirt being pulled over Cesc's head.

On a more serious note, who are we pairing at CB with Vermaelen?

Bad mistake by Reina thats true. But all in all, I think we deserved a share of the points. We weren't very good truth be told but Liverpool wasn't that great either. I think it was a fair result.

On the CB situation, I would assume Song will be slotted in if he's fit. If not, I guess Nordvelt will have to play. We have got to get a CB and quick. No team can afford to be 3 deep at CB, especially a team with title aspirations.

It was a mistake by Reina, but I think Arseblog made a good point today, that Chamakh's aggressiveness on that play produced exactly the kind challenge other teams make on our goal keepers all the time, and we've seen what can happen.

I love our road uni's this year. I think I'm gonna try to get an Essien one.

Read that Nasri is out for a month now with a knee injury. What's up with your physio?

Apparently it was a minor injury that occurred on Sunday. Our season is off to the usual routine. Now, RVP just needs to have a season ending injury within the next few weeks.

Make of this what you will (we all know how reliable these sites are), but it would make sense for Given to head to Fulham and Schwarzer to head to North London.

Either way, we need a keeper, and we need one fast.

Does losing Nasri really hurt that bad? I thought he had a pretty bad performance on Sunday. A lot of blasting the ball into the wall on free kicks and misguided crosses.

I thought Nasri was good on Sunday. He held possession well. Free kicks aren't his thing, but he was the best option we had with Van Persie, Fabs, Denilson, and Theo starting on the bench.

Yes, losing Nasri will hurt. He is a for sure start everytime he is fit.

This is being picked up by quite a few sources, and it looks like there is some substance to this rumor.

If it's true, while he's 30 and injury prone, he's a great defender when healthy, and he'd be our third option, so I would be all for this move.

I wouldn't mind that signing at all. He is a pretty good defender, like you said he has some health issues, but who on this team doesn't.

Give me Squallaci and Given or Schwarzer and we should be alright this season. Still not a championship caliber squad without a few breaks, but that will be enough to definitely keep us in the top 4.

Stranger things have happened. Mancini has said that he can leave if he wants. I expect he will want to leave. Arsenal is a proper destination.

Its not beyond the realm of possibility.

I don't see it happening, but the only thing that makes me think it's slightly possible is that Given wants to win, and he's not winning anything at Fulham. Second, while it makes no sense for Man City to strengthen someone their competing closely with, nothing they do in the transfer market makes any sense.

Still, it seems that Given will go to Fulham with Hughes and we'll get Schwarzer, which is fine with me.

As I just quickly touched on, it's not out of the question due to Given wanting to win something and play Champions League football. Apparently several sources close to him have said he left Newcastle for Man City because he felt he could win something there. He's not winning anything at Fulham, and if City truly don't care where he goes, Arsenal could be his destination.
