To clarify, by "all you Arsenal fans" I mean nomar, organ, zm, and acid. The regulars. I don't need people coming out of the woodwork on me.

Dude, no beer for me? I am offended.

As for <strike>Sasquatch</strike> Squillaci, apparently Sevilla sporting director Ramon Rodriguez addressed the potential transfer and he exclusion from the Champions League qualifier:

The player asked not to play because of the offer from such a big team, but, for the moment, we believe the offer is insufficient and Squillaci is still a Sevilla player," said Rodriguez.
So it seems there may be some fire to go with the smoke...

He's not winning anything at Fulham, and if City truly don't care where he goes, Arsenal could be his destination.
If Man City didn't truly care where he goes, he would probably already be knocking on the door of Arsene's office at the Emmirates. I'm afraid they didn't really mean that they would let him go just anywhere.

Fulham have turned down a second bid for Schwarzer.

Fulham have rejected a second bid from Arsenal for Mark Schwarzer after the club failed to improve on the £2m offer they made for him in May

They said no to a 2 million pound bid the first time and that was without Hughes in charge.

Arsene needs to stop *****footing around and get a goalkeeper in here before time runs out. Same with a CB.

I don't think it's necessarily the price right now as it is the fact that they have no replacement lined up. I think once they find a replacement they'll sell since Schwarzer wants to leave and handed in a transfer request. Problem is, they might not be able to find that replacement and as a result might decide to keep him.

Frimpong out 6-9 months. He wasn't going to be a big player for Arsenal this year, but still, this squad cannot stay healthy.

according to reports over here Frimpong was going to be used in relief of Song as a defensive midfielder and to let song play at the back if neccesary( god i hope not - his positional play is shocking at CB)

Johan Djourou looks to likely to be fit enough to paly against blackpool

                                Exactly.

Somebody needs to tell Arsene he's not going to pull the wool over any ones eyes when it comes to getting a GK. Anybody thats watched an Arsenal last year knows were in a dire need of a GK. I don't blame Fulham for wanting a little over face value.

As far a Frimpong is concerned it sucks that he's out, but its not the end of the World. I don't think the guy was going to be that big a part of our plans this season. We would probably see Denilson or Diaby at DM before we would've seen Frimpong.
