Yeah, frustrating game all around. They had it won but looked so sloppy on that last play. Those are points you can't drop if you're going to win the league.

again plenty of plus points to take from the game

except for the last second goal, both centre halves were exceptional, dealing with crosses and long passes for the last 30 mins

last year Galas would have made a balls up and we would of lost the game
I did nt feel worried at all for the last 30 mins in fact i thought we would nick another in open play

Wiltshire was poor for the first half giving up possesion alot however he always worked hard to get back and cover up his issues

Games where we dont play well and get a win are the the games that win titles and cups, 2 years ago we would have lost 3-1 last year we may have got lucky and held on for a draw but we would of been battered for the last 30 mins. This year we were unlucky to lose. C'est la vie

Chelsea in 2 games will be our first real look to see if we have improved

0-1, up at Spurs at the end of the half. I haven't seen an Arsenal team close down and be this aggressive in quite awhile. Amazing to watch. Not letting Spurs breathe at all if they take the ball off us in their own area.

1-4. I don't care if it was the Carling Cup. I'll always take a win over Spurs.

reminded me of the pressure Barca put us under last year in the CL and what we did when Pat and the ponytail played in midfield

good god what a buy Laurent Koscielny is, how do you go 6 years struggling for centre backs and then in consecative years get this guy and TV5?

Wiltshire just stuns me 2 years ago I thought he looked like a better winger than Theo
last year he goes on loan to Bolton plays upfront and was excellent

this year he's playing as a holding midfielder and bosses then game- wow

I didn't like that Koscielny was small and he looked shaky and unsure of himself to start, but he's going to be very good.

What's the latest on Ramsey? Is he recovering well? Last I heard he was penciled in for a November return. Is that looking likely or not?

Did anyone else see his tackle on Lennon in extra time? Lennon was played on, went past everyone and was in the box to the right of Fabianski. Koscielny came out of nowhere, slid in and put the ball into the stands. It was brilliant.

What a game that was! Nasri was absolutely amazing, and outside of Fabianski and his usual GK blunder, there was not one player who looked poor. I was impressed a lot by Gibbs as well, and if Clichy doesn't watch out, Gibbs will be nipping at his heels for that starting spot.

I'm still disappointed by that Sunderland result, but this is the most optimistic I've been about an Arsenal squad in a long time.

Koscielny has been outstanding so far this season. Back to back years we have hit the jackpot at the CB position.

Fantastic news. When I saw him walking off the pitch with his shoe off, my head was hanging extremely low.
