Nice to see him just make it 0-3.

To me, this game has shown how we've missed him when he's been out. There have always been people (non Arsenal supporters) who have said his absence shouldn't make that big of a difference, but performances like this prove that wrong. We're a different team when he's up front and healthy.

      I agree 100%.

Him along with Cesc, Nasri, Sagna, and Song are by far our most important players.

I'd throw Vermaelen in there as well, who we could really use right now, given how suspect our defense looks at the moment. Our offense looked great, but some of those back passes were terrible.

Vermaelen will but out until March. This is just awful. We have no choice but to sign someone.

The Arsenal defender Thomas Vermaelen is to have an operation on his ankle in Sweden on Tuesday, and is not expected to return until March

Yup, in order to be able to make any noise at home or in Europe we gotta get someone in here to replace Koscielny. Even if Dijourou had a shocking game against West Ham he is still miles ahead of Kosc at this point. I don't mind Kosc as a 3rd option but he has no business being an every match starter at this club right now.

i always fear when "we have no choice but to sign someone" comes around - because feel like our manager can get real stubborn for pride sake almost. does not like to be a known forced buyer.

Yeah he never panic buys which I respect. I guess he probably feels that if he is stretched at the back Song can always come into defense. And I bet Diaby would be able to fill in if he can stay healthy. He's a big lad.

if we are in a position where diaby is a player we have to rely on at any level, then i am scared.

I'm already rather scared considering we're halfway through the month with no signing.

Yeah, and they say it's 4-6 weeks on Vermaelen's return now, and I'm afraid we won't make it that long with just two defenders, given our proneness to injury.

Nobody wants to see Song at the back. He has cemented his place in the heart of the midfield and is our only true DM.

Yeah, he's our absolute last choice, desperation CB. He's too good as a midfielder. And no to Diaby as well. He's not good enough to play consistently as an attacker, so I would hate to see him outside his natural role, even though he is able to play CB. If Diaby's back there, it means me we got wrecked by injuries.

We can do much better than either of them. It's just up to Wenger to make a move.

If I see Diaby at CB before we sign a new CB, I will seriously put my head through a wall.

Eighteen year old Ignasi Miquel will make his senior debut. Further proof we need a new CB.

Bendtner to West Ham? Not if they can't afford the £15 million price tag.
                                http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/foo...on-battle.html
I don't see him heading to the Hammers, but that is just due to them not paying that much. I do see him possibly moving, though. If he's that unhappy, okay. If not, we need to keep him. We're one injury away from having one true CF on the pitch and none on the bench.

                                Also, Denilson is a punk.
The Arsenal captain Cesc Fábregas denied suggestion of a rift with his fellow midfielder Denilson
