Just watched the FA Cup draw and if Arsenal progress (likely they will) today they go to Old Trafford.

If we don't do something a little different after halftime, we will not be.

0-0 now and we lack any cohesion. I still think we can get one or two, but the longer it takes, the more likely it is we could give one up and make it interesting.

If we do move on, I look at facing United the same way I look at facing Barca. I'd rather face the best squads right away. Plus, it'll be a slightly B side vs slightly B side, a buildup to the league showdown. Yay!

        1-1.

I felt a goal was coming when they took that quick free kick. I was going to say Miquel had an outstanding game, until he allowed someone to walk through him. You've still got some work to do, junior.

I hate replays and I hate the "magic" of the FA Cup. I also hate how when we play a second team, we have no cohesion and look as if they players haven't even trained together.

I'm confident we'll easily dispatch them at the Emirates, but it's another game that we do not need with a crowded fixture list.

It's unbelievable how evident it is that our team expects goals to just be given to them. It never seems as if we feel like we should work for our goals against lower opposition. This is the crap that happens then too. We get one slightly lucky goal and then think it's enough and that our prestige of a club deserves the victory. Our history of conceding late gives teams belief and we give away a ****ty equalizer and the team seems stunned that it happens. Disgusts me because the squad we put out there should easily have been able to score at least 3 goals.

To me, it shows why some of those players do not belong in the starting eleven and that they lack the mental skills that those in our starting eleven do. The players I'm speaking directly of are Bendtner and Denilson.

Even though he had the cross that got the goal, it was only after for at least the fifth time Bendtner tried to walk the ball through four defenders instead of attempting a pass. I'd be more than happy if we sold him this Summer. He has confidence, but the wrong kind for this team. It seems he has confidence in himself, but nobody else around him.

I agree, but it seems as if a lot of the attacking players in these game don't give the game the importance it has. Instead of going at the game as a chance to score a lot of goals if the work rate is right, they look at it as a game they can not work too hard in and still get a result. Sadly this isn't the case and the whole team suffers from this. This is the one spot where I think having players like Vela and Ramsey in the team rather than Denilson and Bendtner would help dearly. I feel like they have a deeper passion for the game and look at each opportunity to prove themselves rather than going out there and having things handed to them.

He has flattered to deceive at Arsenal. That is why he is not in the first 11. He's cocky, arrogant, and delusional at the same time. He has one game where he's solid and then he disappears for the next 12.

Denilson's a disappointment only because when I saw him 4-5 years ago in the Carling Cup, he had a lot of potential. He's just stalled over the last 2 years and guys like Wilshere and Ramsey have taken over

Today's game was disappointing because as Mr. Broom said, we should have wiped the floor with them. Chamakh has no confidence, Arshavin looked disinterested, and Bendtner was brutal. Ughh

Well, now the replay is on a Wednesday and then the following Saturday we have Sunderland and Tuesday after that, Barcelona.

It'll be interesting to see what side we field in the replay. Same side and a stronger one at Sunderland? Or a stronger side for the replay and a weaker side at Sunderland?

You gotta field the weaker side against Orient. Its already been established that the League is Arsene's number 1 priority and we can't afford to drop many more points if we are to catch United. Also Sunderland is a pretty good side that has already took points from us at home.

You gotta hope that a weakened side can get the job done at home and if they don't...oh well.

Yeah, it's just disappointing because I know (as a lot of you probably do as well) when I play and my team is scheduled to play against a much worse team, it was something that I looked forward to as you could go out and get an amazing result and make it fun. Not a game where I thought I would just walk around being lazy and expecting to just have it be over with and have us winning. No one showed this which is frankly disappointing for someone who is paid to play.

Yeah, you throw out the weaker side. The league is way more important, and with that Barca game looming, you can't afford to use a stronger side against a team you should easily beat at home (of course, Arsenal should have beaten them yesterday, so nothing's a given).

Man, that is some brutal match congestion.

Hmmm. Wenger said they both could be back Sunday, and I hope so. Squillaci is going to get eaten alive by Stoke's physicality. I'd prefer not to see the same against Birmingham.

As for RVP, I think we can do without him in those two games, but it'll be a hell of a lot easier with him there.
