I didn't even think spoiler would mean for today's game. For some reason. Anyway, I read it and now am even more excited to watch the replay tonight. I should not look at this thread again to avoid a score or something, though.

Another game spoiler - don't read if you don't want to know the score

      Spoiler

We need to beat Sunderland this weekend to stay on pace with Man U. With their loss, the title race is still pretty open but we must not have anymore games like Newcastle or Birmingham where we are dropping silly points

I accidentally saw the score on Facebook. Extended highlights will do for me tonight. Yay for a win!

Closing the gap to one point would be huge this weekend. Absolutely huge.

To the comment at the top about the Liverpool tie, we only "blew" that aggregate lead if you call the referee awarding an absolute bullsh_t PK to Liverpool blowing a game.

Yeah, it's vital. United aren't going to slip up much the remainder of the way (if at all) so we have to pounce on any opportunities we can get. In fact, if we lose this game, I think that might end our chance of winning the league and kill any morale we got from today's win.

I don't have footage to judge from, but what I can remember is that Kolo Toure fouled Babel from behind in a crowded box, and that the controversy was that Arsenal had been denied an obvious penalty in the first leg. That fact, however, does not make the 2nd penalty BS. But again, it's not like I can go back and watch the play, and maybe my memory is cloudy. Whether the call was correct or not, that game was still one of the most heartbreaking in all my years as a sports fan. I was absolutely devastated, especially after my brief joy at Walcott's brilliant 84thish minute run that should have won us the game. In fact, that whole season brings up depressing memories, as we were on pace to win the league, but then RVP and Eduardo (whose injury was due to a sickening challenge) got hurt, and that killed our ability to score goals.

The FA Cup match against them is also huge, because if we can cut the lead to one and then beat them in the cup, that gives us a huge mental edge for when we face them again.

In regards to RVP being injury prone, a few months ago, Warren Barton made the comment that he doesn't practice/work out very hard. True or not hard to say.

I feel much more positive after today because we finally stopped dicking around with inferior teams and put one away early. Bendtner was really solid and it was also nice to see Chamakh end his drought. If they can both score like this against the bigger sides, we can stay in the hunt. Great bounce back game and I look forward to the weekend!

And we also didn't go four up only to lose our intensity, get lackadaisical and then let the other team equalize like happened earlier this season. Let's hope they keep this up.

Henderson and Miquel were both solid. Obviously, they're still young and have a lot to learn. Miquel looks to have a bright future hopefully

If I remember correctly though, Babel purposely moved across Kolo, which is fair and all, but Kolo immediately tried to avoid contact and did for the most part but Babel still flopped to the ground. It was the only thing in Babel's mind and Kolo did everything he could to avoid touching him. There are times when fouls have to be given whether the defender had intent or not but if the defender is trying to avoid contact and the attacker induces it and falls, it isn't a foul. Oh well, nothing we can do now but hope we change that type of recent history this year with a trophy.

Ramsey may be fit for Sunderland game.

                              That would be great news.
