We've been on a slide the entire month of March. April isn't off to the start we needed.

Almunia scared me more than once in that match. Really, Rovers should have had one.

I'm so torn on today's result. On one hand, I look at it and say that if we only had made the correct moves this Summer, we would've been in a better position today. As in, a 0-0 draw could've kept us level at the top or holding a lead or something.

Then, I look at it and also say that today we just don't have a team capable of finishing. We have one or two players who do it well, but on the days that they can't do it, we have nobody else to step up and score one goal, even with a man advantage and the dream of a league title slipping away.

Its been fun fellas. I've seen this play out before so I'm not going to bother wasting my time watching this team anymore this season.

Guess we can now look forward to being let down again in the Summer.

That and because part of being a fan is watching and supporting your team even when they aren't where you want them to be.

I will still watch because I love this team, but the way the last month has been, it's been awful to be a Gooner

A goal-keeping error costs us the Carling Cup. Then, we get completely outplayed and outclassed at Barcelona and then we get beat by Man United to bow out of another cup comp. To top it all off, we struggle to draws against relegation threatened sides.

It's enough to make my stomach churn

I'd also say a keeper error cost us two more points against WBA. As for the Man U FA Cup match, we were as flat as we were Saturday. History repeating itself.

I love this team too, but for the sake of my sanity I need a break. No need to watch a team that gives you an ulcer. Especially when for all intents and purposes the season is over.

Much props to the rest of you guys for being able to take the rest of this season. Because most of us know good and well how this season will end...its been that way for the last few years and this team is the same ole team that it was a few years ago...no matter how much most people want to believe it isn't.
