In terms of Reina leaving, he already stated earlier this season he could leave in the Summer. He 'warned' Liverpool about this. So him not wanting to leave is not what would stop a deal from going through. It would be the price. Not saying it will happen, but I do not think if Liverpool agreed on a fee with Arsenal Reina would attempt to stop it from going through.

And in the words of Sony VP of gaming, "Well played Mauer!"

Never say never. I never thought Torres would leave so who knows.

Maybe we'll get lucky and squeek into the 4th spot.

Agreed. I still don't think Spurs will finish in the top four. They might be impressing in the CL, but they're extremely inconsistent in the PL.

Spurs haven't been consistent, but I still think they will edge City. City SHOULD comfortably finish ahead of them, but Mancini's overly conservative tactics have cost his team dearly. Playing for 0-0 despite having Silva, Tevez, Balotelli, and Dzeko is silly. Besides, their back 4 isn't fantastic.

Spurs may well not. But it definitely wont come at the expense of the scousers.

You can have Reina, but it's going to cost you. A lot. As in out of Arsene's price range.

Which is why I feel if we do buy a world class keeper, we're going to be spending more than Arsene usually would. It's not out of Arsenal's price range, but like you said, out of Arsene's. It'll be interesting to see what we do. If we do buy one, I see Szczesney leaving the club.

Both Nasri and Ramsey were wearing the captains armband of their respective countries this weekend. Ramsey is the permanent captain of Wales but I'm not sure whether Nasri is or not. If he is that is a great accomplishment, captaining France at that young of age.

Lehmann played a fulll 90 for the reserves today, does he start on Saturday? I can't believe I'm saying it, but I think it's almost 50/50 at this point. My money is still on Almunia, though. For now. As I say that, Jens is completely mind ****ing him and destroying the small bit of confidence that he had left, which only he knew existed.

Yeah, I don't even know who I'm hoping gets the start at this point. Also, that last sentence is one of the most ep,ic things I've read in a while. Why is ep,ic not allowed to be used and shows up as ****?

Because people kept saying "ep!c fail" or "ep!c" win to the point that it got out of hand and annoying. It seemed like every other post had the word "ep!c" in it.

I see what you did there.

Back on topic, can Van Persie never play for the Dutch again? He seems to always get injured with them. Hopefully he'll be able to play this weekend.

Apparently it was just a knee to the thigh, so I can't see him not being ready. At least he was injured in a qualifying match, though and not a friendly.
