I'd only be okay with that if we turned around and then bought an experienced and true holding midfielder. However, we wouldn't do that. We'd sell Song and then just plug Conquelin or Frimpong and pocket the cash.

However, unless it's a big offer, I don't think we sell him.

            M'Vila would do the trick.

More injury concerns for you guys. Jenkinson out with a stress fracture and Gibbs out for 5 weeks with a hernia.

It's easy. Almunia on the back line and RVP plays sweeper. +1 championship.

                Seriously, I'm genuinely concerned.

I'd be more concerned if it were last year. On the left, Santos can manage and on the right we can play Koscielny as we now have BFG and TV5 in the middle. It sucks, but we still have some depth. Hopefully Jenkinson recovers in a few weeks.

We better not sale Alex. He is by far our teams most underrated player and gets a lot of unfair blame for the defensive woes. He can't help it the team defensive work rate has been pathetic for as long as I can remember.

If you took out the countless tackles he's at least made over the last year, we'd be giving up so many more goals. I do agree he's extremely underrated and that stems from the things he does just being expected of him now. Everyone expects him to break up possession in midfield or to expertly poke away the ball around the box. So when he does these things, it's become the norm and it's just what he does. Remove that from this team and we'd be hurting.

I think without him for an extended period, it would affect the team the same way TV5's absence did. It's just not the same defense without them.

Exactly, and the midfield trio of Arteta, Song, and Ramsey are just too good to break up. We should have scored so many more goals today, and Song not only played well defensively, but he's been playing some awesome through balls as of late which have opened up Walcott and Gervinho on the wings.

If Gervinho finished his chances, we'd finally have someone else to trust to score goals. Also, not really a surprise, but Koscielny looked pretty damn good out on the right.

Gervinho has been mighty dangerous, now he needs to learn how to actually put the ball in the goal. If that happens, look out.

Just got around to catching up on your game. Keep RVP healthy is all I can say. The guy is unreal.

I have to say, Per Mertesacker is half the player he was at Bremen. Slow as molasses and easily bullied off the ball by guys half his size. He really hasn't come to terms with the pace or physicality of the league. You need your fullbacks healthy so Koscielny can lineup alongside TV5.
