We played scared today and I expect that we will play scared again. I jut don't get it. We played soooooo well against tottenham, Liverpool, man city, new castle, Chelsea (earlier in the season). But then we drop points against Wigan, stoke, Swansea, wolves, QPR? The inconsistency of this team is staggering, especially the back four. -
Not wasting time on crap that has been said before. All I know is this happens every year."The academic support at Ohio State, there is no way you can fail. Even if you're giving minimal effort there is no way you can fail."

It's really early, but Spurs are looking like they're just waiting to score on Villa.
On a random bright note, how about Song once again setting up RVP yesterday with a fantastic pass. The kid has come so far in the last few years.Comment

The results went our way today. I thought the spurs penalty was the wrong call. Glad villa defended well. I also thought newcastle was primed to grab a point; they had a lot of chances to grab a draw.Comment

We dodged a huge bullet (or pair of bullets) today with the Newcastle draw and Spurs loss. Both games for awhile looked like they might go the other way, but after a stress-filled morning we're back in the driver's seat.
DO NOT BLOW IT THIS TIME.
I'm hoping for a win, but after the Norwich City match, I have no idea what to expect. We could come out rolling and win 3-0 just as easily as we could come out flat and have to try and wage a comeback. The inconsistency is frustrating, but at least it's led to an exciting finish.Comment

It may not be saying much, but I think we either come out tight and scared, or extremely open and going for it. I think it'll be clear as to which it is with no gray area.
Either is possible, though. Obviously, we can play scared and timid. However, with the personality of our captain and others in the squad, we very well could be hungry. Let's hope those that we need can influence the rest.
If not, none of us will be surprised.Comment
