Y'all ain't gonna believe what happened with the England U21s.

It's really a toss up, it could be anything.

    Give up?

    Reiss Nelson scored.

    Eddie Nketiah scored twice.

Every time I’ve seen that kid Nkeitah play he’s scored and played well. You guys and City are the only top clubs in England with 2 legit striking options so I don’t know how much time he would get but the kid is legit.

I would not be surprised to see Auba or Laca go next Summer so we can use those funds to buy 2–3 younger players.

Holding back in full training with first team. Our overall performances really seemed to drop off when he went out last year.

          Thrilled to have him back!

No, no, no. Missing our best performing defender last year is just a stupid excuse that Arsenal fans always come up with. It's always something with us!

Losing a talented, non-error prone defender who has the ability to play it from the back had no effect on us at all!

Stupid Arsenal fans always making excuses.

Yep saw this. Holding and Smith Rowe too.

Hoping to see Holding at the weekend. Not sure if he’s played a full 90 for U23 though...?

It's crazy to think that three of our four first-choice defenders are not yet fully fit.

Not saying we'll be flying up the table once they are, but it's important to note that we've not yet seen our first-choice defense this season.

When Bellerin comes back what happens to AMN? Does he go back to his natural position or does he stay at RB when Bellerin gets fully fit?

Backup RB, and forward on the right when extreme rotation is needed. His future is on the right, for sure.

Arsene would say he could see him in midfield, but he played wide right up front in the youth system, I’m almost certain.

So from my watching of the youth teams I can say that Ainsley played the most on the right side of the central midfield, but he played quite literally everywhere except striker, goalkeeper, and centreback. His path to a starting position is obviously blocked in the midfield, but I could see him as the primary backup for Bellerin, and one of the first people off the bench if we're winning because of his insanely improved defensive skills. As long as he's still in the 18, I don't know if we can go wrong with AMN.

Side note, Joe Willock put pen to paper on a new "long-term contract"

Side-side note, Alexandre Lacazette will be out til October with an ankle injury

Saw this. While this sucks, we do have a favorable run of games through October, all very winnable.

This also allows 14 to go back up top, and gives way for Nelson and/or Smith-Rowe to play on that LW—which, of course IS the future after all. Thankfully Miki gone so we don’t have to worry about him slotting in.

Needs to be noted by the fools who boo when he's substituted, or the people who are always asking why he isn't starting all the time. He's been struggling with that same ankle injury for nearly a month it seems.

But no, Emery just surely has a problem with him and doesn't want to play him, yeah? Morons.

If there is a problem Emery has right now, it's being wedded to Xhaka. At this point, Torreira will leave in the Summer due to not being used. He was never the player Emery wanted, and it seems like the longer he's there, the less Emery will use him.
