If his allegations against liverpool are true, then I think using the media to get his way is fine. I think they are too desperate to hold onto him. They have his market value too high for the baggage he carries.
If this goes through, I hope he doesn't crash and burn at Arsenal. My gut feeling says he will.Comment

I think he meant Suarez's allegations that Rodgers told Suarez he could leave if Pool didn't qualify for the CL.
The fact is, though, Suarez should have negotiated an iron-clad release clause into his contract. Then there wouldn't be this much drama, as Suarez would be free to leave. Sure, Pool fans would not be happy that after all their support he decided to leave, but at least he wouldn't have to piss away whatever good will he had with the supporters by badmouthing the club.
Now if Rodgers really did tell him he could leave and then went back on his word, then fine. Suarez has a right to be annoyed. However, Suarez is under contract, and Rodgers doesn't have to sell. I hate seeing players sign a long term contract to stay with a club, then start bitching and moaning when they're asked to actually honor that contract. Oh, the injustice!Comment

Agreed nomar. I don't feel sorry for any player when they whine about loyalty. There is none in today's game. We don't know the exact conversation that took place between them, but the fact remains that he is being paid very handsomely to play for LFC. Now, as for the assertion that Liverpool is valuing him too highly, I don't agree. If they think he gives them a chance to bump them into 4th place or better, why wouldn't they wish to keep him? That is a fortune in future prize and television money. The only person who stands to lose by moping and not playing to his standards is Suarez himself. I don't blame Henry one bit for holding out for as much as possible.Comment
