Slightly better odds than a Metro article.

Yeah he is a true finisher that can score all types of goals from scrappy ones to goals from tough angles. It is shame that we haven't had a striker even close to that quality since RVP yet.

Wenger says if we buy a striker, somebody will have to leave. I'm hoping this means Sanogo on loan rather than selling Podolski or Campbell.

Podolski makes more sense because Wenger has said that he doesn't quite fit the role he wants him to play. I think if he wanted to sell or loan Campbell, it would have already been done.

I don't like the idea of dropping Podolski. he can score, although inconsistent. We need to add goals not subtract them. Sanogo and Campbell havent proved anything yet.

Agreed. Podolski scored at a consistent rate at the end of last season, and goal-scoring consistency is what this team needs right now. Not to mention the fact that the top clubs have great depth, and by selling Poldi we would weakening an area of the squad where we for once have a plethora of options. We were decimated by injuries last season, and with Giroud out awhile we are seeing yet again what happens when you lack depth. Add but don't subtract, Arsene!

Why do Arsenal keep starting Sanogo over Poldolski! It is Bayern all over for him.

I always hear about how he has a low defensive workrate and what not, but I don't care. Put him up front and he'll score, and create.

As for someone leaving, if selling Podolski means bringing in to top striker, go for it.

As disappointing a performance that was, it takes a game like that to force Wenger's hand tomorrow.

I don't know how we got 5 points from those three games. Three straight poor performances.

Poor passing, slow to get rid of the ball as tackles come in, going down too easily, and overall looking very uninspired.

So after swearing up and down we aren't in for a striker and we are good up front, NOW Arsene says we will sign someone 24 hours before the window closes. I just can't sometimes with him...

well things have changed since he said that. Falcao tweeted that he is on his way to Madrid but deleted it because apparently it was pre mature. I can assume that there is other business that needs to be done before he moves.

I can see Benzema either going to PSG or Arsenal. Most likely he will be going to PSG that might allow Arsenal to get Cavani.

Ozil on the wing is a shamble. Why Wenger consistently plays people out of position and refuses to change formation is a mystery.

If no signings are made tomorrow, this window will be seen as a failure in my eyes.
