I argue that we need a calm presence back there. Personally, I like Ospina but he has flappy hands at times and he needs to be much more commanding in grabbing balls in the box.

It's funny, I'm actually looking forward to the transfer window when I normally used to dread it. Schinderlein would be my first target and them look at a new CB next. Would love to put him in a double pivot with Coquelin and throw Ozil, Alexis Welbeck and Giroud in front.... Makes me salivate thinking of it. So much balance with techincal guys up front with physicality backing them up. Heck we could actually play some 4-4-2 again with those two complementing each other.

We reportedly bid on Lars in 2013 (or was it 2012) so there's some history there.

Schnederlin's experience in England would also be very welcome, and could be the cheapest of all our options. Thankfully he's not English.

He's French so that always helps.

That was a ton of fun to watch. Some brilliant goals, Giroud continued his scoring ways, and we are now, for the time being, in 2nd.

Looking at this team and the way they are playing now, though, does make me annoyed that we didn't buy everyone we should have over the summer. Oh, what could have been....

Yesterday made me hope we don't **** it up this Summer, as we'll actually be title contenders if we don't.

We don't even need much. Just a DM who can play next to Coquelin, not a total destroyer but someone like Schneiderlin. Coq and Schneiderlin would be like Schneiderlin and Wanyama, the reason behind Southampton's defensive success. Maybe a GK but I doubt Wenger will splash the cash for another goalkeeper. If Giroud keeps beasting we don't even need another striker.

Ramsey isn't getting dropped. If we buy a DM he will start in place of Coq.

Replacing someone who saved our season along with a few others, no thanks. Rather not buy a DM then unless he's bought to be Coq's backup. Competition is good, but knowing Wenger has no idea how to rotate I'd rather keep Coq in there.

Considering the form Giroud has been in, and the fact that we spent money on Welbeck and Alexis last year, I don't see Arsene bringing in a striker. I'm not saying I'm 100% sold on what we have, but I've already set my expectations for it to not occur.

Burnley on Saturday will not be an easy task, as they're fighting like mad to stay up. With the form we're in, I do think we can score goals against them, though.

As much as I've come to love Bellerin, I do wonder if Debuchy will start.

The fine form Bellerin is in, it would almost be a punishment to sit him. It isn't like he needs the rest either - personally, would like to see Debuchy come back in the upcoming FA cup match.

With Debuchy and Bellerin (and CC when he is needed at RB) I can say that I'm not too sore about Sagna leaving, as much as I liked him.

I liked Sagna too, but I think we're better off now. I'm liking how all the pieces are starting to fall into place. I'd leave Bellerin in there and ease Debuchy back into games slowly.
