The fact is, diving is a problem, and something needs to be done about it. There is no defending what Eduardo did. However, it had no effect on the game, and you can't ban him for two-to-four matches like has been rumored unless you are going to institute a policy to ban ALL players this way. In other words, this can't be a one-time thing because Celtic and the media makes a stink about it. Either implement a policy with bans for diving or don't ban Eduardo, because why should he be banned for an offense that, as of now, warrants a yellow card in a match? If you're caught, it's a yellow card, but if you get away with it, you're later banned? That's extremely unfair.
I hope they do institute a policy for greater punishment to reduce dives. But it must be universal.
