I just came here to post something about how we play tonight and I don't really care. Maybe we win and extend the little hope of finishing top four, but I still doubt that we will.

We're so far behind the top of the table now, even if we win. How anyone at the club can think we need a few more years of this is insane. Serious change is needed. I'll just keep sitting here, getting old, an waiting for it.

An undeserved victory, but 3 points is 3 points.

          Gabriel is awful.

            Just finished watching.

            Don't know what to think.

Curious as to why Mustafi wasn't played as RCB?

Fair enough. I thought Holding played well. The team in general was very meh (per usual, unfortunately).

At least they got a result--whatever that's worth at this point...

Thought he did really well at wing back last night, suited him.

Is it me, but for as good as Alexis is - does he just "lose/give" the ball away an awful lot??

I lost count of how many times his touch lost him the ball - several times when he wasn't even under real pressure... Just too heavy a touch or similar.

                        Indeed.

He tries to do too much. With that said, can you blame him?

I have another interpretation. He just messes with Wenger. If I was Wenger he would be out of game in the 60th min latest. He kept the ball like a basketball point guard and I counted at LEAST 15 bad passes by him. When he was subbed out around 85th min he didn't even look Arsen(al) Wenger.
I watched the whole game and all these Arsenal players were playing just because of obligation.
Imo if the board keeps Wenger next season Arsenal will fall out of top 6.

Well, yes I can. At one point he had the ball, dribbled back 20-25 yds., and turned toward the center of the field and just kicked it straight to a 'Boro player. I thought, "wtf are you doing?" (And it wasn't the first time in that game) All the while he had multiple options to lay the ball off to a teammate. The instance I'm talking about 'Boro had a pretty decent break from it (can't remember exactly which) and got a shot off.

So instead of squaring the ball to Xhaka/Ramsey, or playing it back to Holden/Kos (or even Cech) - he just gives it away.
For all the good (sometimes great) he does - I just shake my head anymore watching them.

I just can not believe the difference of our season before Christmas and after Christmas. . . It's the same players for goodness sake. And if Wenger not saying his future intent has this kind of impact... well, I don't know. I'm at a loss with this current team - I mean, f**k, Holding looked better than Koscielny last night.

Not sure they will make top 6 this season.

We have two games in hand over Everton, so I'm actually pretty confident we'll manage to finish in the top six.

However, there's not a chance we finish top four, and that has been clear for weeks now, if not longer.
