    I feel nothing.

I will at least say I find it interesting that all of my criticisms during the last parts of Wenger's reign turned into the opposite at the end of Emery's reign.

I’m looking forward to an Arsenal match this weekend. I haven’t said that for...it’s been too long.

        From David Ornstein.

Also, I refuse to believe a team being led by an Invincible will not show some passion and fight.

I honestly had a feeling they made the decision before last night’s match. Still too late, but glad they did not use the result last night as a barometer.

Someone else may get credit, but I do not care about results for the rest of the year. I think the goals for Ljungberg or whomever takes over should be to avoid relegation and do not get embarrassed in the Europa League/FA Cup.

I want us to actually implement a vision in to the club and work towards that vision instead of doing whatever it is that Emery did.

I mean it's true isn't it? Under Wenger, even if things weren't going well, we knew what we were about. During the turbulent times I knew I could turn on Arsenal and I'd see some mostly beautiful, creative football. The club was committed to making sensible signings, and promoting youth through the academy and integrating them in to the first team. We were ABOUT something.

What were we under Emery? We had none of that. During Emery's introductory press conference he talked about being the protagonists and about high intensity pressing, I was excited to see it come to fruition. I was excited to see them implement the style Emery had made work so well at Sevilla and literally NONE of that came to be. Who knows who we are now? What are we? We have no identity, we've been stripped of it through the absolute nothing we've been in the calendar year 2019.

It's also a lot easier to be forgiving to results when you know what's happening with the club. Not that it'd be "okay" but with the recent run of results if we all knew and understood we were bedding younger talent in to the team and that's why we were not performing well it makes it just that much easier to swallow what is happening. But we didn't have that, I broke down earlier in the year what I thought our tactical plan should be during the year, I never followed up on that because how on earth could I? What was our plan? What were we doing?

This may not have had to be this long of a post, but through all of this, it's the worst part for me.

Did Luiz play in midfield last match?

Mertesacker will be on the bench tomorrow as part of Freddie's staff in the interim.

All hands on deck—I like it.

Also have seen Gilberto Silva’s name being thrown around too.

Lots of chatter about the starting eleven Freddie has named—a few thoughts.
                                • As I saw someone pointed out, it's about how the players are told to play just as much as who is playing.
                                • Mustafi makes sense to me, as he's better with the ball than Sokratis, and I do think Freddie will have them playing from the back some.
                                • Kola is in as Tierney played on Thursday.
                                • Pepe is on the bench as Emery was doing nothing with him, so there's no way he can start. He'll play, though.
