Easiest sell of my life, as much as Auba has done for y'all, it's not like he's gonna magically carry you to the ambitions you should have. Plus you'll get to see what you really have in some of your young talent, like Nketiah, John-Jules, and Balogun. Between a potential fee and saving on wages, it just seems to make way more sense to sell.

Damn, there’s a lot of “your” in there.

Balogun seems set to leave soon.

I have been an Auba fan since when he first arrived at Dortmund and watching him and Reus play together (when Marco was fit) was truly something special and I never thought he would ever come to Arsenal. However, I would want him to leave just to get back to playing in the Champions League and possibly aim to win a League title. He is way too talented to be playing for a rebuilding team right now so while I wouldn't like to see him leave it would be for the best for him IMO.

Just saw the Balogun stuff, tragic really, he really was impressive in the youth teams, figure he'll just be another Reine-Adelaide or Maylen who goes on to impress elsewhere then.

That's my fear, that in a few years we'll be looking at him performing incredibly well and moving for a fairly large fee.

I haven’t seen Arsenal be this defensively organized in many, many years. It’s weird to see us hold our defensive shape and cut out attacks.

                    Weird in a great way.

Wolves have been better away than at home this season, but that is still a great result. Hot damn.

Great win but man Arsenal continue to look so shaky for like the first 20 minutes of the second half but what a match from Kolasnic though definitely looks better as a CB in a back three.

Norwich made three changes (I think it was three) at the half and entirely changed their system, but once Arteta made changes we looked better.

I think it’s a case of Arteta still learning, and today he was up against a highly praised tactician in Nuno, so I’m not surprised again that we had to settle down after the half.

I think it’s telling that Mikel is trotting out Kola at LCB. I think he wants a left footed player there. Mari could have been that guy, but injuries.

Back at it tomorrow against Leicester.

Coming back to this as it's the biggest thing I remember from the match. We were shockingly defensively organized. There were several times when I thought "Whoa, look at us holding our lines, leaving no forward options—oh wow a purposeful press, and a second player coming in to help with the press and to win the ball."

It was so refreshing to see us do something basic very well, that we've been trying to do for two years. I don't know why Emery could never get that side to press well or with purpose, but Areta already has them doing it.

I might walk back my "Luiz won't be a starter when everyone is fit" opinion. If we continue with a back three and wingbacks, I wouldn't be surprised to see it be Mari, Luis, Saliba at the back. What I want to see is Mari, Holding, Saliba as first-choice, but we'll see.

I think his preference is a 4–3-3 under optimal conditions, but he can’t throw Mustafi and Luiz back there by themselves, they need protection.
