I don't have much at stake I feel, but man just seeing Willian and Ceballos out there is demoralizing.

Saka and Smith-Rowe are treasures. The academy has had some great players, it's a shame they aren't still here. Would take a few of those guys over the purchases we've made.Support Local Sports

My hope is that Willock has earned a spot in the midfield next season, and that AMN returns and stays with a more specific role. Mix in some opportunities for Azeez and I’m happy.Comment

I know how unlikely it is, but man what I wouldn't give for a single game of Willock/AMN, Nelson/ESR/Saka, and Nketiah or Balogun up top, would be tremendous.Support Local Sports

I really, really hope that Arteta uses today to see what players can do for next season. That means no Ceballos, no Willian, no Lacazette.
Start Balogun or give him serious minutes, for example.
I don't expect any of that to happen, though.Comment

Even if Arsenal pay a part of his wages to move him, it's worth it. Dropping his full wages, opening a squad spot and getting rid of his wasted minutes is well worth paying a part of his wages.Current careers:

Re: ***The Official Arsenal Gunners" Thread***
I'm sure that by now everyone has heard of the whole "since Boxing Day" thing, but it really is...insane.
Since the 3-1 Boxing Day win over Chelsea, Arsenal are third in points, and only Man City won more games in that time. Also third in goals scored, and third in goals against.
Inconsistency in performances, a few too many losses in those matches (five in twenty-four matches) plus some poor Europa League performances definitely overshadowed what has not been an awful league run. The big issue, of course, is that before Boxing Day, Arsenal were in 15th, having only won four matches and lost eight.
If not for that insanely poor start, we'd be in the Europa League again.Comment
