re: Official USMNT/USWNT Thread
I'm telling you guys, Adams is our best player, he's better than Pulisic.
He's got almost no weakness to his game at all, and plays in one of the most mentally demanding positions on the field. Already starts nearly every game for Leipzig and rarely gets subbed off. And he's only 18.
Kid is a phenom.Comment

re: Official USMNT/USWNT Thread
I would assume Schalke would sit him out to get a full recovery. If they teeter too closely to relegation they may rush him back, he's been all over the pitch for them this season. I can't say I have a good read on Huub Stevens as a manager, but I'll be interested to see if he can turn around the mess that is that club without McKennieSupport Local Sports

re: Official USMNT/USWNT Thread
McKennie has become pretty important for Schalke in his natural position as well.Comment

re: Official USMNT/USWNT Thread
Yeah McKinnie’s a stud too. Love his motor and attitude.
Full strength we looked OK last night but it fell to **** once Pulisic went out. Zardes has all the physical attributes you want in a striker but his touch is AWFUL. Right after he made the nice pass to Pulisic for the goal TT commented on how solid his touch had been in the opening 15 mins but it completely went to trash right after.
Hopefully Sargent can make this position his.

re: Official USMNT/USWNT Thread
That was a pretty good result, but let's hope we don't have to play the Gonzalez/Ream defensive pairing very much. They didn't seem like they were on the same page and they both look like a disaster is around every corner.Comment

re: Official USMNT/USWNT Thread
I'm pretty sure our pairing going forward is Miazga/Brooks.
There's also CCV and the young guy City recently got who's name I can't remember, but he was super highly rated.
The main issue imo is Ream, because we have a big Beasley-shaped hole in that left back position with no up-and-coming left backs looking super promising (think both the Everton and Fulham kids are right backs right?).Comment

I'd like to give some consideration to Auston Trusty, I like him a lot, he's gonna need to get more experience, but I'm more convinced of his potential ceiling than Miazga.
City got Erik Palmer-Brown, now on loan at NAC Breda.
Antonee Robinson(Everton) is definitely a leftback, though I'm not sold on him as much as I like the upcoming Chris Gloster who recently signed for Hannover(and unlike Tyler Adams, is 18). Another option, depending on how we intend on utilizing the leftback is Sergino Dest. He's normally a rightback, but can basically play anywhere on the wings, Jong Ajax have deployed him on the left wing in UEFA Youth League matches, so if we're looking for someone comfortable in defense, but also with a killer attacking instinct Dest is a good fit, even if a bit out of position and being a primarily right footed leftback.Support Local Sports

re: Official USMNT/USWNT Thread
I forgot about Robertson, and I agree, he has been pretty unconvincing when he's played for us.
The Fulham kid is Marlon Fossey, who is a right back.
What happened to Acosta? I remember hearing very promising things about him and that he would probably leave RSL very soon but he's still there.Comment

Are you talking about Kellyn Acosta? Or is there a 2nd Acosta?Comment
