re: Official USMNT/USWNT Thread
Berhalter hasn't earned the job. His brother is head of USS, yes?
What has he done? What's his record? It's not great...
Hiring him is more of the same...might as well be Arena.
I'd love to be proven wrong, but this organization has a very distinct pattern, and what seem like a bunch of "members" that have no real desire to get stuck in, so to speak.
You'd think the younger kids would look hungrier...Australian Rules Football...just sayin'Comment

re: Official USMNT/USWNT Thread
I like Gregg Berhalter a lot. I'm not exactly inspired by his hiring, and it's honestly just more infuriating that it took this long to get here, but I still like him. Having Pulisic play the Higuain part in Berhalter's set-up excites me a lot. Adams/McKennie in the midfield roles intrigues me. I like his tactical set-ups a lot, and while I'm unsure exactly what he'll bring in terms of development of players, I think he might be a good tactical fit.
Here's an insight into his tactics (by Tifofootball)
that being said, I'm 100% prepared to eat my words in a year.Support Local Sports

Greg Berhalter named USMNT manager.
MLS got their yes man who won’t stir the pot.

re: Official USMNT/USWNT Thread
Berhalter has named his first group of call ups. Keep in mind this is just the January camp, which is typically very young and MLS-heavy due to the season break. First match is Jan 27 vs. Panama, followed by Feb 2 vs. Costa Rica.

re: Official USMNT/USWNT Thread
Tyler Adams has quickly become my second favorite USMNT player, he's a joy to watch for club and country, and he's so comfortable it's crazy that he's just turned 20. I'm interested to see what he grows in to as a player, on a personal level, I love him as an out and out defensive midfielder in most systems, and I wonder under a different regime if we would get a 6/8 of Adams/McKennieSupport Local Sports
