Not great but could have been worse. People wanted drastic changes and to burn the system down and that’s not what is needed. We didn’t miss the WC due to recent decisions, we lost due to decisions made 10+ years ago. It’s why we have such a talent gap from a generation of players that should be in their prime. This youth generation that’s coming up will be much, much better.

If you compare the current youth to the lost generation they have a better youth structure, better quality of coaching and more options. It’s not as bad as everyone makes it out to be. Is there room for improvement? Absolutely but people are acting like it’s the same federation as it was before Alan Rothenberg was in charge.

Cordiero was elected for his leadership and business skills. If he can delegate the sporting and competitive decisions we will be ok.

Cordiero announced his candidacy before Gulati had even announced he was not running for re-election. To say Cordiero won't bring some sort of change to the USSF is just naive.

I’m not gonna judge Number Two before his actions. Let’s see what he brings to the table first.

If he’s a Gulati clone he’ll be found out quickly.

Players don't want to shake things up. They're fine with everything because they're already in the system.

Why are we hosting a random game in North Carolina? You are telling me there was no better city to host it? I mean come on at least host in Charlotte or something

Glad to see us finally using Lichaj again.

Definitely like the amount of youngsters we are using these days, though maybe still too many MLS players (Hyndman has far more natural talent than Delgado/Roldan/Nagbe/Trapp), but this is still a big step in the right direction.

Is this the longest coaching search of all time? Arena resigned in... October.

I imagine Caleb Porter or Tab Ramos will ultimately get the gig, but I have a feeling that the USMNT might doing something crazy and hire this guy:
