If the price is right. He's essentially replacing Drogba who didn't much. It's a gamble I'd be willing to take. What's the Remy situation?

I'm seeing that Palace and West Ham are interested in Remy. I want to keep him.

Agreed. I'm fine with a quiet summer. Just add some depth.

I'd like another quality striker and someone who can consistently score from the right.

The only real problem with Remy is he gets injured a lot, he's actually just as skilled as Costa.

Both Costa and Remy are susceptible to injury. I love them both but honestly I don't see a problem in bringing in a striker like Benteke or Icardi that could actually compete for the starting position.

Also, I don't think we need a goalscorer from the right THAT badly. We don't really have a problem scoring goals when we are in form.

Really hoping Cuadrado performs in the Copa. I refuse to believe that he can't make an impact.

I didn't say they NEED anything.

Yeah so I think that a quality 3rd striker (Falcao) would be good. If we could also blood a new CB, much like Zouma last year, as Terry has only got 2 seasons max, left in him. I've also seen rumours o Oscar going to Juve and Luis possibly leaving again. What do ye think?

                      Oscar won't leave.

Luis leaving would make me mad because it means we'd have sold Bertrand for no reason.

Oscar has his dips in form, but Jose likes him too much. I don't see him leaving either. Just needs to play consistent for an entire season.

I love Ivanovic, but I'd also love to see Azpi move back to his preferred right side and have Luis on the left. Hazard and Luis working together sounds dangerous. I understand the concern behind those two offensive minded player on the flank though. Could get caught out.

Luis is a word class full back. We just have an embarrassment of riches.

So Cech had a medical with Arsenal. I wonder if Wenger will complain about Mourinho selling top players to rivals now.

Apples and oranges. Mata deal was in January when Chelsea already had faced United twice, whereas other teams still had to face them. Cech deal is now. Spot the difference? I'm not defending Wenger because well he likes to complain about silly things, but if you're going to take shots at him at least get your facts right. Also, Mourinho got overruled by Abramovich on this one.

First, I knew there was a difference but thank you for the input.

Second, if I wanted to carry on this banter with the likes of you, I would have brought it up in the Transfer Thread.
