As a Portuguese I know that Nani would never go to Porto, never. It would be a major regress in his career, plus Porto would never have the money to pay his salaries. My teams:
Soccer (It's football, not soccer!!): SL Benfica
Baseball: Oakland A's/ San Francisco Giants
Football: San Francisco 49ersComment

Sir Alex Ferguson statue unveiled.
Well deserved, though I kind of wish the sculptor went with Ferguson pointing to his watch.
I honestly wouldn't know how to take it once he finally steps away. Such a massive figure to replace and all our recent success boils down to him.Comment

Anderson suffered a pulled hamstring. Just as he's getting into good form and earning his spot in the starting XI... ****! (http://therepublikofmancunia.com/bad-news-on-anderson/)
I'm not surprised though considering his injury record.Comment

Vidic still out, but Kagawa may be in the squad for the derby.
With Vidic's imminent return, I'm happy to see our defense finally be at 100%. Kagawa recovering much quicker is a huge bonus and hopefully he gets some games in to further acclimatize to the EPL and gel with the rest of the players.
I totally wasn't expecting any of the bigger names to start against Cluj with the derby looming but it looks like SAF will start Rooney. Ideally, he's able to grab a goal with United in a comfortable winning position and sit early for the City match.Comment

I feel that Gill leaving will be a blow. Putting aside his role in the takeover, he has run the business side of the club well. We've got sponsors left and right and we're making money (to pay our own debt and some change for transfers). Gill and Sir Alex made for a great combo and it'll be interesting to see how Woodward fits in since he's a Glazer man.
I'm hopeful at the end of the day nothing changes on the football side -- SAF calls the shots, Woodward delivers on the money needed.
I can say one thing though, if Gill gets elected for that UEFA spot, there will be more people shouting "United own UEFA."Comment
