I suspect the offers they received weren't as tempting as people may think. It's not like Besler or Zusi are superstars. And they aren't young enough that spending time in Europe to "develop" makes any sense.

Still, it would have been cool to flip on the EPL, Serie A etc, and see a few more Americans.

Diego Valeri's goal on Friday was insane.

I do agree watching other leagues and seeing more Americans would be cool. But I feel them staying in the MLS and helping keep all the good American players here will lead to more MLS games being on TV which I think would be better than seeing Americans in the EPL.

Turns out I do have a good reason not to go... I fly out to Cincinnati for orientation at my workplace that day. :\

Pretty cool doubleheader on ESPN2. Also, Man U vs LA Galaxy on Fox Sports 1 later.

Really enjoying the Sporting KC/Man City match. Never been into soccer that much but the World Cup definitely turned me onto it.

                  About 70k in attendance for LA/ManU. 😊

                    Correction: around 86k in attendance.

About picking a MLS team I decided to go with Seattle or NYCFC depending on who is on NYCFC when they start playing. I'm collecting jerseys so NY having good looking kit is a plus.
They have David Villa too so I'll be rooting for him as a Spain fan.

SKC too good for you all of a sudden? Couldn't stand how they won while a man down last night? Don't want to be seen as a bandwagon fan for joining the Champions?

Nah that was a good game, but like I said earlier it looks like SKC might be one of those teams who dominates everyone for two or three years and then disappears and becomes a mid table team if one key player leaves or gets hurt.

Gotcha. You're looking for someone who will win every year.

Let me guess. Alabama. Kentucky. Patriots. Cardinals. Blackhawks. Those some of your other favorites?

PS: All in good fun. Don't think anyone gives two craps of who you choose

Crew on a two-game win streak. Gettin' their groove back.
