Re: OFFICIAL 2013 MLS SEASON THREAD....

Going to my first MLS game in a couple weeks. San Jose Earthquakes at Seattle Sounders. What should I expect atmosphere wise at CenturyLink?

Saw the highlights for KC n PT. On the 2nd and 3rd goals, the Timbers looked really fast.

Could be a a good season for the Timbers.

Oduro has been q great pick up for the Crew thus far - disappointed they ditched Duka as he's always been an amazing performer for me in FM.

Arrieta had an amazing game against DC United as did Higuain. Maybe the scoreboard should catch fire before every home game.

I'll be there this weekend with my brother to watch the game against the Red Bulls.

Seattle is known for their atmosphere and the largest MLS crowds. Whatever you do, boo the heck out of SJ. The incident with Lenhart this weekend was disgusting. That whole team is.

Anyways, I was really impressed with our shutout at RSL even though we had no Keane or Donovan and started 5 kids. 3 peat looking good this year.

Awesome stuff. But #8 totally tried to poach that goal at the end of the video.

On another note, while not an MLS match, it was a match between two MLS teams, so I think it can go in this thread. The Impact/TFC match last night in in the Voyageurs Cup was amazing. That's a match I'll remember for a very, very long time.

Great job by the boys last night to come away with a point in such a tough place like Portland, especially with the backline decimated by injuries and a suspension.

Impact looks pretty damn good this year.

Roy Miller is such a joke out there today.

Kudos to the Red Bulls on a well defended game - not everyday a keeper blocks Higuain on a Penalty Shot.

Donovan .... you're killing me. 2 missed pk in a row. Could've salvaged at least a point in each of those games.

Question: When NY2 gets added (which I'm assuming will almost certainly happen), who gets moved to the west, since the east already has 10 teams?

It seems like KC would be the most logical choice. Or Houston.

Houston, since they were a Western Conference team for the majority of their history. Makes more sense to move them back and "reunite" the Texas teams than move KC.
