That goal would have me fuming in FM, just watched it about a dozen times to see if there's something I missed to show that it wasn't as egregious as i thought, but it just is.

Yeah, it was a real FM kind of goal. It just bounces off him and into the net. And he is just squatting there looking at his hands. And of course it happened in what the 92nd, 93rd minute. Real life emulating FM.

One of the people I traded for in FM, Eric Miller, appears to be pulling on a Loons kit now, with Sam Nicholson headed to Colorado in exchange. I'm sad to see Nicholson leave, but his inconsistency on the wing made him more expendable. I'm excited for more stability in defense though.

Anyone know of a good place to get MLS gear? Besides the MLS Store (unfortunately they're run by Fanatics, and for a league with multiple Canadian teams, they sure don't want Canadians to buy stuff. $15 extra because you're shipping to Canada? And this is all before the exchange rate).

Even looked at sports stores here, and at least online, they don't have the widest selection of items.

Have you looked on amazon.ca ? Spend $35 or more and it's free shipping.

Can't find the type of stuff I see on fanatics powered sites.

Looked all over and can't find anything good. Might just have to go in store and see what some places have in stock.

Not sure if you have them in Canada, but in the USA, discount stores like Ross Dress-for-Less and TJ Maxx have a ton of soccer jerseys. I remember buying a friend cheap Barcelona stuff, and there were LA Galaxy and Houston Dynamo jerseys for like $15.

Both players have my biggest eye roll. This is another thing VAR can cut out. Neither of you are hurt, stay on your damn feet, we have the video receipts. Correct call in the end, of course. The synchronized going down is both sad and hilarious.

Ibra has always been a douche, and he's definitely always been a bit dirty.

Also worth pointing out, that defender 100% knew what he was doing. These are the kinds of things defenders get away with regularly, because it's so easy to disguise intent. This is the kind of stuff I always point to when I'm trying to explain to people why the whole diving issue is so much more complicated than simply "let's just start holding public executions of attackers until they stop diving".

Defenders do stuff like that all the time, it's a huge part of the reason diving was born in the first place. He knows exactly what he's doing but it's impossible to prove he does, so he will never be punished for it even with a VAR review of the play.

For sure he annoyingly got into Ibra's feet. Ibra acting like he jumped up and down on his toes is pretty hilarious though.

I love that red going to Zlatan, after he escaped red for his elbow a few weeks ago.

I understand Zlatan's initial pain, getting the front of your foot stepped on can hurt a ton for about a minute(much like stubbing your toe), but 'limping' off, Holy ****, he's gonna end up with more Oscars than Leo at this point.

Also, it took me forever to figure out why there'd ever be a game on a random Monday, but it's a sort-of national holiday in Canada.

Didn't even realize at first that was in the box, should've probably been a penalty.

Either way, it's about time people start calling out the standard of refereeing right now in the USA. It's very clear to me that PRO isn't doing a good job of training refs. I certainly don't expect perfection, but consistency is key. While I understand I'm renewing my season tickets no matter what, I would 100% state that the standard of officiating is a bigger factor in my decision to not renew than 'rising ticket prices' at this time.

Fans of almost every league say the same thing. Not just other countries, but even other sports like in the NBA, NHL and MLB. You have to remember that just like our league is just barely 20 years old, so is our state of officiating. It takes time to develop level of play as well as the level of officiating. Just part of the process.
