I'm not sure Nashville has ties to Prussia?

That I can see, they are pushing the German heritage thing. Not sure if it ties in directly to Bavaria, like Milwaukee, but my only time spent in Cincinnati was driving through so I could be wrong.

            Re: MLS Discussion Thread

Sigi Schmid steps down as Galaxy manager after the horrendous 6-2 result against RSL. I wonder how much of that was Zlatan's doing, he's an influential figure wherever he goes, absolutely hates losing, and I'm pretty sure the Galaxy are going to do whatever it would take to keep him happy. Does Zlatan now put the entire team on his shoulders and carry them through the playoffs? Unless he can play defense, I'm not sure it will be enough.

I'm headed to one of my all-time favorite cities this weekend, Vancouver. Oh, and the Sounders just so happen to be in town for the Cascadia Cup rivalry. Already got tickets, it's gonna be a blast.

Is this all from that fake Grant Wahl account tweet? Would be hilarious if it was. Anyway, some kind of announcement to "clear up the rumors" is supposedly on it's way soon.

Yeah, I haven't seen anything beyond the fake Grant Wahl account but it seems to have gained a LOT of steam. Steam isn't a fire though, so it'll also be typical if it all blows up.

That said, I'd love for it to be real.

Montreal says they are losing $11-to-$12 million a season. The owner has no plans to sell the team but I wonder how long those kinds of losses are sustainable.

Montreal Impact president and CEO Joey Saputo says the club is looking for ways to stem the red ink, including a reduction of its annual tax bill.

I was at the LAFC vs. Houston Dynamo match the other night, the one with the nearly two-hour weather delay. FWIW, it wasn't the heavy rain that delayed the match as much as the lightning strikes over the stadium.

I captured a bit of it on video (no lightning though!):

Definitely a tough season being a TFC supporter after last year's success. Hard to believe all three Canadian teams missed the playoffs.

Congrats to the NY Red Bulls for winning the Supporter's Shield.
