Guys, Altidore scored. Even showed poise on a through ball to round the keeper.

EDIT: Steven Caldwell is done as a footballer. He's just not athletic enough at this point. I don't know if it was the torn quad last year, but he can't play pro football any more. Manneh is just eating him alive.

          Yeah, Altidore`s finish was great.

You`re dead on about Caldwell. He had a nightmare of a first half.

Sebastian Giovinco was unbelievable. He`s going to be a huge fan favourite in Toronto, especially in the Italian community. It`s going to be hard to get a ticket this summer.

Boy, was Perquis a stud though. Would be really nice if to see Doneil Henry paired with him.

I just don't want Caldwell's weaknesses to dictate TFC's tactics this season, and in that sense it might be best to give Hagglund and Zavaleta an audition.

and yeah, Gio was a class above. The way he turned on Laba was just incredible. A few dribbles, and touches he had left me in awe. Very efficient play overall. All that on artificial turf too. He was clearly a class above anybody Whitecaps put out there.

Cheyrou had some odd gaffes in the first half while Vancouver was blowing their wad with that press, but he is also another player at a level above the league average. He was so silky smooth and good in the second half (and a lot of the first) that he controlled the midfield when they went to that pseudo 4-4-2. He and Bradley looked really good in that formation.

Unlike at Sounders last year it was nice to see TFC possess the ball and have a confident and dominant second half.

I'm amped for Orlando City and NYFC.

Incredible finish.... Kakà saves the day with a stoppage time Free Kick. Down a goal & down a man i thought we were done for. The Citrus Bowl erupted.

When I heard Kaka scored on a free kick I was kind of surprised, but then saw a clip of that ugly thing and It seemed more reasonable.
