Have to say I'm impressed with RSL. No matter how many new players and managers come and go, they always maintain incredibly consistent levels of utter unlikability.

The Montreal Impact are the Kings of the away goal rule. They should stop playing in MLS and stick to tournaments.

Ah, the MLS. Where the league champions get beat by an expansion team 4-0. 😉

Kind of like Premier League champions Chelsea getting beat 3-0 by West Brom today, no?

Eh, different situation entirely. Not only did Chelsea give zero ****s, they also played with 10 men for an hour.

But calling Orlando an "expansion team" is just taking a shot at the league for no reason. Expansion teams in MLS are a totally different animal than we're used to in the other leagues.

TFC is starting to look somewhat competent without the ball. Giovinco is getting better and better each week in this league. Treat to watch.

I didn't realize Altidore was hurt again. I feel like he needs to change up his workout routine or something. More cardio and stretching, and less time in the weight room.

Also, I'm mad that only caught the 2nd half of ManC/TFC. Guess I missed all the promotion for it.

No idea how Mansally managed to stay on the field for the entire game last night, though the rest of his team wasn't much better.

Do people in Salt Lake even like RSL?

The only redeeming thing about them is Nick Rimando. I have no idea how that little man makes some of the saves he does.

One of my favorite quotes about Rimando: "that's not a goalkeeper that's a soccer player"

He really does have fantastic feet for a keeper

Went to the TFC match yesterday, and despite the torrential rains, and thunder storm delay it was a blast. It was an absolute treat seeing Giovinco live. No doubt in my mind he's the best player in the league right now. The disparity in talent between his teammates and opponents at this level is quite significant.
