    Re: MLS Discussion Thread

I feel like my TFC stole a point on the road after being down 2-0. We were so close to being down 3-0.

The first half was just awful. The defense was a shambles at times.

De Jong'd. Somehow only a yellow.

He needs to be removed from football.

He ruined Holden's career...and now injures another young player.

The Galaxy and MLS are jokes for signing him.

Players like him and Pepe need the Roy Keane treatment. Take him out and do it hard.

If the ref won't red him for a studs up tackle to the shin, then do the ref's job for him.

Refs constantly let this common thug get away with his garbage. He's only picked up 2 reds in his career! How?!

Watching that last night I couldn't believe he wasn't given a red. Hopefully the disciplinary comity ban him for a long period.

More frustrating than diving is football is the lack of "sticking up" for one's teammates...

Baseball has some stupid customs...but at least if you do something dirty you can count on it coming back around.

That's not even a deterrent though. No one in the NHL gets the message if they have to "answer the bell" after a dirty hit. They get the message when they get hit in the pocketbook from a lengthy suspension without pay.

This is true...though I think the NHL's culture and attitude towards physicality, when compared to futbol, is different enough to make the analogy somewhat weaker.

I wasn't watching. How was the game leading up to it? Was the ref letting players get away with stuff before this?
