I wouldn't be surprised to see him go on loan over the winter, with a look to a potential full move, but who knowsSupport Local Sports

Re: MLS Discussion Thread
I was at the StubHub Center for that last Galaxy match, man was it brutal. How you could possibly blow a 2-nil lead at the half with your season on the line... it defies logic.
Afterward, Zlatan sat on the bench alone for maybe 10 minutes (no one bothered approaching him). He finally got up to join a quick team lap around the stadium before heading straight to the tunnel ahead of the rest of the team. He did not look happy to be there.
Ashley Cole is 37. The team has no defense to speak of, they recently gave up 5 in Toronto and 6 in RSL. I'd be stunned if Zlatan puts up with that for another season.www.heyimbill.com | sports poster art and other cool stuffComment

Re: MLS Discussion Thread
Well, Zlatan came back to announce how much he's looking forward to his next season with the Galaxy in 2019. I'm happy to be proven wrong, will be great seeing him in action at the StubHub Center next year (assuming he actually isn't going anywhere).www.heyimbill.com | sports poster art and other cool stuffComment

Re: MLS Discussion Thread
Anyone else watch the Final? I'm sure the atmosphere was pretty cool, but we couldn't hear as the bar we were at didn't have the sound on for it.
Pretty poor match IMO. It didn't help that it was played on that turf. Ball was just bouncing around all over the place in the midfield. I thought Portland started off the 2nd half way better than they played in the 1st, but Atlanta was able to get the goal off the set piece and then Portland never really looked like they'd be able to get the 2 required goals to tie it.Comment

Re: MLS Discussion Thread
I watched it. I enjoyed the match for what it was, Martino was definitely the better of the two managers in the Final. I still hate playing the final on turf, and not at a Neutral Stadium, but it is what it is.Support Local Sports
