People forget that it's not just a one sport city. Average attendances generally move around from 14k to 17k, so basically it's like having another Championship club in your backyard.

I actually wrote a bit about this in my dissertation for university (thesis in US?) and pretty much said the Rugby League team at the moment are an example of fans want: stability, success and local players in the team. If you can get all 3, you'll only get more popular.

Going back on topic, Norwich at Elland Road next year will be interesting if they keep their ex-Leeds players. Could be an interesting reception!

Zamora! QPR are back, playing most of the 2nd half with 10 men.

QPR are in massive trouble with the Football League though. They went drastically over FFP rules and it could get messy in the coming months.

Wednesday gets purchased by Hafiz Mammadov. Oil Baron says Wednesday will be back in Premier League in a year.

Hopefully it doesn't turn into a Pompey, Leeds, or Hearts situation for them.

Yes, there's always that worry that a new chairman comes, goes all out in the transfer market then the club craps out, doesn't get promoted, and loses a ton of cash. From what I could gather from his RC Lens dealings, he seems like the sensible type but Ligue 2 is not exactly the Championship as far as spending goes, it's going to take a little more backing if he hopes to get promotion in season one.

That was us with our previous owners, not the one that ImTellinTim is referring to. I'm only saying this because its so frustrating having one crap owner after another with Leeds.

We've got no manager at the moment as well. I'm honestly not sure what is going on for Leeds next season. We've still got Ross McCormack, so we probably won't be relegated.

What on earth is going on at Blackpool? They cancelled a pre-season tour yesterday. They only have 8 registered players, none of which are a goalkeeper.
