Blackpool has fired Jose Riga because he couldn't get a team of players signed two weeks before their first match to win games.

They had 4 subs named for their first match. Four.

I think Leeds sacking Milanic just tops that for the "Most bizarre sacking of the season" award so far.

      Very close though.

Crazy, and the guy was able to get a few results out of this side despite that. And they are only 5 points away from getting out of the drop zone too.

Man what Ipswich town is doing is straight nuts. I read an article that they only spent £10,000 on this side and could challenge to get to the EPL... I hope they don't simply because they have so much debt, that they couldn't possible compete. It would be 2008 Derby all over again. Hopefully this plan they are implementing will keep them on a saner economic footing longer term.

Bristol City's very own Shedman was featured in the New York Times today...

Ipswich is still winning games. In 2nd, 1 point behind Derby.... It could happen

Also, Leeds loans out a player to Ipswich who nets the winner for them over Charlton two days later. Amazing
