Hey, it's not like us Geordies get much to take the piss about these days when it comes to mackems, so I'm taking every chance I get with this haha.

In all seriousness though, I hope he isn't guilty, at the most I think it's a case of a young lass on a night out dressed to look older than she is, told him she's 16+ and he's ended up shagging her. Unfortunate if so but because he's the older male, the **** all falls on his doorstep. If that is the case, it's a shame as he is a hell of a player. But even if proven innocent, the backlash from all this will have a major effect on the lad. Suspended by Sunderland pending police investigation, he can't dare set foot outside atm. On bail til March 18th.

@jvalverde88: Aye, Geordie slang/dialect is a whole different breed to most of the UK, even fellow English people struggle to understand us haha!

I want to love this quote...but I can't after his goal in the box against us, right in front of me at the Gallowgate end, 4 days before Christmas. This is karma.

Late United winner that should have been a late United equalizer. Where have I heard this story before?

You say "**** YEAH! IN YOUR FACE!!" to Giggsy.

United played good, but just as the rest of our matches, still too slow in attack, not decisive enough in front of goal and a few chances being given way too easily to the opposition. At this stage of the season though, it has to be to win whatever way we can and secure a spot in Europe.

I fully expect United to play better in Year 2 under LvG, as compared to the flashes of it we've been seeing all year.

If Arsenal and Pool keep this form up long enough, we might not get to see year 2 of LVG.

I've been kidding myself all year about manchester United, but as a fan and seeing today's game good lord we look awful on offense. I dont remember a team that has struggled this offensively in years. Well if you dont count last year. I do wonder how we keep winning, but winning is winning. Wish we had the flair this year like previous years.

That's what's been said about United for the past 2 decades and a half. Winning/getting a result when they shouldn't -- a trait that we lost last year. A number of our performances have been painful to watch at times, but the results do speak for themselves.

Flair will come in the future (I hope). Just goes to show how spoiled all United fans are who've only seen them play in the Fegie era, including me, though there was the stretch between 04-06 where United played like **** and SAF was thought to have "lost it." It's been a transitional 2 years, but this year looks to have a more solid foundation.

Hey, he's managed a whopping 5 more points than Moyes had at this time last year. It's an impressive turn around.
