Costa Rica has been pretty poor this tournament. However, Canada has trouble putting more than 3 passes together in a row. I'll be rooting for them, but I think you're right.

The Panama goal was offside, and the US should have had a penalty, but still, the US defending has been shocking. So many missed marks.

When should the US have had a penalty? That obvious foul that wasn't called was outside the box.

The defending has been awful. Brooks is having a bad game, which makes the Chandler/Alvarado dumpster fire even worse.

It's happened before. British bookmakers accepted bets (don't recall the exact odds) about whether Canada would score a single goal at the 1986 World Cup.

Yep, three games for Canada no goals. Drew with Costa Rica 0-0.

We only allowed one goal in the tourney in extra time.

If Mexico don't beat Trinidad and Tobago, they'll have to play Costa Rica in the quarterfinals.

There's also a really outlandish scenario that pits them against the US in the quarters. Losing to T&T while Guatemala makes up 8 in GD.
