My understanding of Benitez' deal is that it is for $8M per year but that it is terminated if Newcastle is relegated. That protects both sides from a bad deal if they are indeed relegated.

I can't believe this is the same Citeh that started the season 5-0 and didn't allow a goal in their first five games. They may not even hold onto their Champions League spot.

It would be kind of funny if there was no Champions League for Pep next season.

Do you think there's a possibility Pep's agent introduced a Champions League clause within the deal?
Do you guys think we're too far away from a final table like this?
        1. Leicester
        2. Spurs
        3. West Ham
        4. Liverpool

        That would be hilarious.

            Arsenal isn't dropping beyond 4th. It's tradition.

I can. They already take matches off. Add a lame duck manager and this is what you get.

                goodness...

Leicester 10GF, 3 GA against Spurs, Arsenal, Liverpool, City in the past two months.

                Unbelievable.

Yeah, if there's one thing I'm confident about it's that we'll turn it on when needed and play great in order to stay in the top four.

That is one positive thing that we can consistently do.

Most probably the title will be celebrated against West Ham.
Right now it's not healthy to watch Leicester if you're a fan of the team. Yesterday's match was a torture. The performance was the worse of the last 12 months but we're in the phase that you need to win ugly to stay 1st.
Some moments were shocking inside King Power. 70 and 80 yrs old men shaking, overstressed about the outcome. From the 70min mark until Ranieri tried to cheer up the crowd you could feel the tension, the nerves and it wasn't a good feeling. Fans are starting to realize that this is real.
                      8 to go...or just 4 to go?

                        Am I missing something?

You have a 5-point lead with 8 match days remaining and you think you will win the title with 4 matches to go?

Essentially, to have a 13-point lead with 4 games remaining Leicester will need maximum points from the next 4 while Spurs get just 4 from their next 4 and Arsenal get no more than 10 from their next 5.

I'm not saying it can't happen but I don't think I'd call it "most probably".
