Laudrup was all done, he doesn't stay long at any club and he gets bored pretty easily. He didn't have any emotional stock left to give and it was the right thing to do replacing him.

Monk is a tough one, because he clearly knows what he's doing, and he's definitely got a brain for management. He's doing wonders over there at Leeds, a club where it is nearly impossible for managers to shine because of the owners. However, when Swansea fired him they were on a horrendous run of form and didn't look like they were going to pull out of it any time soon. Maybe they could have stuck with him and let him try to fix it, but in the end the firing was probably best for both parties.

Guidolin on the other hand, had done reasonably well with probably one of the hardest opening set of fixtures in the league. Should have given him more time to see if he could pull them out of it.

In the end, the owners have to take a large bulk of the blame. In a time where pretty much every team in the league is splashing cash due to the crazy amount of money in the Prem, Swansea simply sold all of their best players and didn't even try to get replacements. Every quality player they've had, they sold for a significant downgrade. They supposedly have a fantastic youth setup, but they don't use it at all.

Swansea are an absolute mess right now.

Someone needs to save Gylfi Sigrudsson from that cesspool. I bet he wishes he would've picked Liverpool when he had the choice.

Paul Clement has been chosen as the person to save Swansea from what looks inevitable at this point after signing a 2.5 year contract.
