Good for Bradley. Nice to see a club go for something new rather than go to the list of tired retreads.

    Surprised it wasn't Giggsy though.

He's waiting to swoop in after the loss to Liverpool.

Not surprised at all it wasn't Giggs tbh. Way too big of a first job for him, not to mention a large majority of Welsh fans don't even like him which means he'd be under even more pressure to succceed as the fans would give him far less room for error.

Since leaving the US national team, Bradley has excelled in every job he's had so far. Also worth noting, Swansea upper management has a pretty exceptional track record when it comes to making big decisions.

Definitely the most puzzling of Swansea's recent sackings, but I'm excited to see how Bradley does in the Prem.

Majority owners are American too. Forgot about that fact.

I would hope that marketing the team to an American audience had <1% of a role in this decision lol. Unless they start filling the squad with MLS players, no one is going to watch their games and think "this is an American club." In spite of NBCSN bringing up the ownership every 5 seconds.

It's not about marketing. It's about Bradley even being on the list, which he wouldn't be for a lot of places simply because of where he was born.

Honestly think Bruce Arena would kill it with a top European team

I mean, I'm only partly joking. He's got all the attributes that world class managers generally have, and he's a proven winner over a very lengthy period of time.

He will almost certainly never leave the MLS, but I don't think he'd be out of place in a top European league

I'd agree with that, but you said a top European team. So I was picturing him trying to manage Atletico Madrid or something. Haha, that would be fun.

5Live at BBC had some real stupid things to say:

                          A brilliant follow-up though:
“Is Bob Bradley better qualified than Steve Bruce or Ryan Giggs? I don’t think so.” And so we begin…

Danny Mills and Chris Sutton are quite possibly the worst pundits in England

He implied that British managers just aren't given a fair shake.
