It will be interesting as I’m sure they fully mean to give him time, but how patient will they be if they’re not in the top four? Likely not very patient.

Re: The Sack Race aka Official Management Carousel Thread
I'd say a successful approach is a mixture—you don't sign a player your current manager will end up freezing out in a year but you also don't give them everything they want, and you focus on the long-term building and value of the squad. You certainly don't buy Ronaldo.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: The Sack Race aka Official Management Carousel Thread
Too many clubs that can’t afford to buy into the helter skelter approach of sacking their manager, hiring a new one to save them and overpaying for players without a plan. But they do it because they think ‘it’s the way’ when clubs like Brentford have shown that it doesn’t have to be that way.
I’d also point out a club like Norwich who is well run, has wealthy owners who were season tickets holders before any ownership, by all means yo-yos but doesn’t behave irrationality in terms of their business.Comment

Funnily enough, the only managers I'd defend that they fired too soon are Slaviša Jokanović, and Xisco.Support Local Sports

Dyche joined Burnley in October of 2012...which means I blame Watford for so much. It's their fault he went to Burnley and made them Burnley.
