Leeds once again have my blessing to remain in the top-flight.

Now maybe I can listen to Men and Blazera again lol.

And I'm curious how many new-ish American fans of soccer are suddenly learning how quickly these managers get let go compared to American sports, with this being the "why would that even happen?" moment. Gotta love it.

I guess I'm still new-ish (with the last 10 years) but outside of the cases like Watford firing multiples in a season. I think the only real difference is that in US most coaching hires happen in the off season. So their year in charge is an entire season with the team. Where as in soccer/futbol you see a lot of get hired part way through a season and your year with the team is split between the back half of one season and the front half of another.

In fairness that's because there are consequences instead of perks for sucking.

The most bat**** extreme example I can think of was Palermo around 2016. I think they had 7 managers in one season.

There are some pretty extreme examples lol.

But even just think about how many teams are on their 2nd or 3rd manager in the past 3 years. There's a ton. It's just how the sport is.

Ding ding ding. There is no tanking, rebuilding, etc. Relegation has serious financial consequences, and it’s a massive reason I fell in love with the sport.

Rumor that Hasenhuttl could be taking the Leeds job after he turned down the vacant position offered to him by Hoffenheim.

Neil Warnock has another job. Huddersfield, where he managed from 93-95. I saw someone say when he managed there in 1995, Gigi Buffon played at Parma. And in 2023, the same is true.

                        Time is a circle.

I love that both Warnock and Mick McCarthy have been brought in for survival.

                          Hopefully Cardiff goes down.

Jesse Marsch is taking over at Southampton. They play at Leeds on the 25th.

Maybe he can help relegate two teams now.

Southampton and Leeds both look ****ed right now

Nathan Jones was a disaster and now the Saints are hiring Marsch from another relegation battle side while Leeds is rolling with the caretaker until further notice.

Of course someone of them, Everton and Bournemouth have to stay up
