Seems a bit harsh four games in. Sounds like the board didn’t like him complaining about lack of transfer activity.

His first four games were Villa, Arsenal, City, and Liverpool. I think most cherries fans would have been ok with 1 pt let alone 3 considering the lack of transfers.

Parker has every right to complain, especially after seeing Forest make like 20 signings and Fulham signing folks up too.

Parker is super inexperienced but this is definitely in the "we've tried nothing and we're all out of ideas" category.

They have the worst squad in the league by a huge margin and have zero transfer strategy outside of signing players for free. I'd be shocked if they don't go straight back down.

Was there more than one interview? The one I saw he was extremely reasonable, and was actually defending the players. If him saying that they were over-matched and don't have the players to compete is a fireable offense, I guess they need someone who is mute or will flat out lie.

It was more about openly criticizing ownership in public. I'm sure the owners have been hearing about it non-stop in private. It just wasn't going to work going forward between them.

Promising manager
plays a pretty solid style of footy
has way exceeded expectations at Brighton despite losing key players
has shown the ability to improve players
is English lol

Personally I wouldn't have sacked Tuchel considering the squad overhaul we need/needed but you have to remember that he wasn't Boehly's guy and his performance over the last 25 matches has been poor for our high standards.
