Never in the Champions League, tho. Side note: I'm sitting here watching Real/Roma and just BEGGING Ramos to attempt a stupid tackle and get his second yellow. Lol!

It wasn't even a card at all, let alone red.

I've watched the replay a bunch of times and still can't understand what the ref thinks he saw.

I just saw it. He got sent off for...an aggressive pet? That’s all I saw.

The most contrarian about me is that I kind of...like...Ramos. It's weird.

They were awful and still almost managed a draw. Man footy can be weird at times.

I love him but I’m sure that has something to do with me being a Chelsea fan.

Plus, he's basically a consultant and is not their full-time throw-in coach, just someone who came and will come in and do small sessions, etc. Really smart move.
I also think that throw-ins are extremely underrated as a set piece. It's basically a cross for some players and you can create an easy chance with it. You also gotta take advantage that there is no offside getting called after an throw-in.

Schalke had a player almost two decades ago calles Tomasz Hajto. That dude could literally throw the ball from one side to the other (he also holds the record for the most bookings in one Bundesliga season - 16!). At that time, throw-ins were a deadly weapon for Schalke. Hope McKennie can get there some time.

Yeah I remember Rory Delap several years ago with those crazy throw ins for Stoke. But you are right they are really underrated.

A co-worker was yelling at me about how sports and politics is something that is only big in the United States.

They made this argument as I was watching the Chelsea-PAOK game with the Macedonia banner in the background.

                          People have strange worldviews.

If someone had told me several months back that Rangers would be in the Europa Group Stages and getting a draw against Villarreal on the road, I would call them crazy.

It’s amazing to me how far Rangers have come in such a short time under the leadership of Steven Gerrard.

VAR will be used in UEFA competitions going forward from the 2019-20 season.

Here's to hoping they apply it in earnest, and don't try to muck it up.

They need to take the same approach Serie A does. They get it right
