Second Atletico goal is justice tbh.

Ball falls to Jimenez's feet after bouncing off Bonucci who threw himself to the ground grabbing his face after getting bumped lightly from behind.

Hey one of us has seen our team win a Champions League in our lifetime and one of us hasn’t.

I hesitate to accept the premise that this makes me a bad person, I just want to see this happen and I get paranoid/emotional about it. Doesn’t mean I’m worthless trash.

I don't even get to claim that because I didn't really become a fan until like 06/07. City has had more success during this time frame. Therefore commence with the rock kicking.

I totally get that it can come across as “entitled City fan” and I’ll definitey try to dial that back, and I apologize for being annoying about it.

I just hate that you think this means I’m a bad person and my opinion is worthless and I’m generally not worth talking or responding to. I just want some of these sports bucket list items to happen before I die and I’m gonna be a basket of emotions until they do.

Eh, don't take it personally, this is just sports talking. Say whatever you want, fire out those opinions with confidence. No one truly knows what they are talking about anyway.

Tbf to him, City have a long history of underperforming in the CL, so City fans have legitimate gripes there

Also despite how good Juve are at home, I might even call this Atletico/Juve tie already.

Atleti playing away from home and only need a draw? Good luck with that one Allegri.

Actually they don't really have a long history of anything amirite?

But yeah, now that they have Pep and 2 separate top 4 starting XI type depth, the all the "haven't been there" excuses are used up I think. If they don't win one very soon it'll start being weird.

It's a cool feeling as a fan to witness your club making its history. Just enjoy it while it lasts because as the original "we ain't got no history" kid on the block, when things go south it kinda sucks.

                            Nah not really.

Start from last season, go back over the years until you find all the English winners. The most recent one was back in 2012, before that 08, before that 05, before that you have to go back to 99 and then before that it's 1984.

English clubs haven't really been in the "weird if they DON'T win it" category since the 80's (MAYBE 2000's but I'd still argue no on that one).

Currently, until proven otherwise, it's Real Madrid and Barca's competition and we are all just competitors.

Is it too much to ask for a 4-0 Dortmund win today?
